Well, the most similar villain to the celestial dragons that has been taken down is Orochi, and he got immolated and decapitated multiple times, so there's hope.

I would like to remind you all that while Luffy is Carefree and doesn't typically put himself into "The Hero Role" on purpose. We have repeatedly seen that Luffy will absolutely fucking punch someone's shit in when he sees them personally cross a line and has already outright declared war on the World Government because of Robin.

When a Celestial Dragon crosses a line in front of him, Luffy will 1000% do something.
