I will give the artist some props for the detail that went into the butterfly wings and scales of the snake. I do think those were quite well done, although those parts aren't enough to salvage the overall design. Three skulls on the bottom, solid black patterns and flames adding a ton of visual noise, and can't forget the stars that feel thrown in. I have to assume the artist wanted to collage a variety of notable tattoo designs together, as evidenced by one of their other full back designs having that old school eagle, weapons, another snake, more flames, roses, chains, bugs, fake scars, and so on.

Typically a collage of tattoos reflects the many years of different designs being added onto the body. However in this instance, despite being pre-planned and done over the course of several days, it still ends up looking like such a clusterfuck of popular designs slapped together. I looked up some examples of back tattoo designs, and while sure, quite a bunch can be super tacky, other designs can showcase some very impressive work:

Especially for that last one, notice how the dragon's the main focus with only a few flames complimenting it.

This guy sounds like a complete sped, at 1:45 he narrates that he turns on "drawing assist" because he can't draw a symmetrical butterfly without that. Any artist that needs a feature called "drawing assist" to draw a butterfly should be nowhere near a tattoo gun. He keeps saying "I just kinda like to riff" He goes on to say in his video "you can watch and steal whatever you want from me" He says this, knowing full well, nobody will be stealing his "art."
