Careercow Anthony Cumia - A once successful radio host crashes and burns, turning on all his fans and the drama around it

It's quite a change to see them cracking jokes about trannies, knowing the path Ant and Jim would take later on.

Then again, this was back when troons were still rightly considered sexual deviants, not an oppressed minority to be idolized. The whole show is like a time capsule of the Aughts.

And how did the bit of abusing Erock get started?

One of my favorite O&A moments is Jim recounting a tranny stealing his glasses like the bit in Take the Money and Run when people keep taking the kid's glasses and smashing them.

Somebody on the O&A forum pointed it out; Nobody's cracking jokes about this. They would have spent at least two entire shows about this a decade ago. It's embarrassing. Seeing Andrew Dice Clay going "beautiful couple!" are you fucking kidding me Diceman? Nothing? Not even "ME LOVE YOU LONG TIME"?

Ant regularly called Jimmy a faggot and a queer on the show for fucking trannies. I mean, before Ant started fucking a tranny.

And now Sam Roberts is just awkwardly saying how great it is Jim married a shemale. Any of these people happy having to not be funny on purpose because some freak on Twitter might catch wind of it?

He's as much of a company man as Dennis Falcone, but Sam isn't as funny, even though he's on a comedy show and not spinning records for 60's on 6. He will set the stage for other people to get in trouble, but he will never do anything to threaten his job and his lifestyle as a fully grown 9 year old. He knows that if he takes any risks, it might mean he can't hang out with his favorite geriatric wrestlers anymore. Luckily his diet wouldn't change because even poor people can afford frozen chicken nuggets.

Is Bobbi still alive? If she is, is she still coddling him into his 40's?

The Jim and Sam show is just a vehicle for Jim and Sam to get pictures/meet people they like while milking SXM for nearly a million every year.

They don't want the gravy train disrupted.

At the current moment who's more pathetic? Ant or Opie. They've both fallen pretty far.
Ant. The Opster is happily married with children. He was smart with his money; he invested in property, co-owns a restaurant and podcasts for fun. Ant is a dying Tunisian pedophile with a cow permanently suckling bud light from his brown nipples.

It's probably for the best Anthony has no kids he would be a terrible parent.

If Antwan could summon enough heterosexuality to nut inside his wife, not much would've changed; just replace Sue with Crystal.

He destroyed his career as well as the best American radio show in history because he couldn't shut the fuck up on Twitter.
I really believe this could have been a turning point in his career. Compound Media could have been a fucking empire if he wasn’t such an incompetent drunk with a fragile ego.

Everyone blames Keith the Cop for loosing Legions of Skanks, Gavin McInnes and Mike David. It's Ant's own fault for being incompetent and thinking his show was the only draw to the site, or more to point HE didn't want to be out shined by his co-workers. Fuckwads like him have huge ego's and it's an ongoing effort with them and the one's around them to maintain it.

Can you imagine Compound Media where LoS, Gavin and redbar were still there? It's similar to the LowTax thing ... He had Totalbisquit, Yahtzee and dozens of other future millionaires/creatives on his site and found a way to not make any money from it. Boggles the mind how people see competition instead of collaboration.

His problem wasn’t that he was a co-worker, he was the boss. Anthony never intended Compound Media to be a broadcasting company, it was originally just a hobby he did for fun. He never wanted to be the boss, he wanted to be one of the guys and hang out with his buddies. The problem with being the boss is that nobody considers the boss as your pal. Anthony was never executive or foreman material and he knew it.

This might sound strange but I think if given a choice Anthony would prefer if Opie was the boss than running the company himself.

That's the other thing, you're completely right. They were all very close to being done with their contracts anyway. It's possible Sirius thought by canning Anthony over something that was sort of par for the course with his tweets by 2014, they expected Opie and Jim to leave in solidarity as well, meaning they didn't have to keep paying them and sinking money into a show that was probably losing more listeners than gaining by that time. It really could have been a turning point, as you said. They could have really made Compound into a real network.

I don't hate Opie, even after all the whining from him. People overblow how "bad" he was during the show and besides some moments he was usually inoffensive. I think having all three on Compound in some form would have been ideal. People have said it before, but IIRC Opie's the one that initially really wanted Jim as third mic at WNEW, and he pushed for the Black Phillip Show, etc. Opie is great at being something he doesn't want to be; A program director. Him as PD with Anthony, Jim, and some other third mic would have been perfect IMO. Have Ron & Fez join them before that show ended would have been neat as well. Lots of different ways this could have gone.

I haven't seen any best of compilations regarding TACS. Either it's because of copyright, or because Ant's not that funny by himself, and I think it's a combination of both.
