The cognitive dissonance in Max's Video pisses me off. The whole 'think of the kids' bent is what keeps retarded and multiplicitous legislation from immediately being shot down. I think he genuinely cares about this to some degree, but it should be obvious that his approach is never going to work. Give me the moons & rubbish bins (garbage cans for the cheese-deficient among you) if this is just dumb or too self-indulgent, but ever since this stuff got big on youtube I've thought it would be a good (in the loosest possible sense of the word perhaps) series to make real the paranoid, delusional thoughts of the schizotypal mind (i.e. mine) through their own eyes. Pale, greasy, black-nailed fingers that slowly creep up from the oven's air vent in the far periphery, only to instantly pull back in as the eyes/camera shift to focus on them. The quick flash of a yellow eye in the crack of a door left ajar. Furniture moving only in a mirror's reflection. Too-dark shadows swirling like an inky oil slick after a light is turned on, slowly returning to normality. A door opening to a dark hallway landing, a hulking thing splayed against the far wall only to disappear in a blink. And so on and so forth.

In order to bring some positivity about analog horror I'm to give you two recommendations that (I think) may be new to you. You guys got me to watch White Stag and Woodlands so see this as a humble showing of my gratitude. I didn't discover these on my own, they were recommended to me or forced on my recommended.
So the first one and the one that technically got me started on this was labelled by some YouTube dweeb as the most underrated analog horror series, which immediately made me go acksually mode and try to find out if it was worth it since I saw an even bigger dweeb call Winter of 83 (Linkara's analog series) the most underrated. Kiwis, I'm very pleased to report that the recommend that started it all was well worth it and I think you guys will enjoy it a lot.
Midwest Angelica (11.2k subs) is absolute kino. One of the things that I adored about the Monument Mythos (really all of Alex Casanas' work) was the top notch sound design that always elevated some of the worst visuals in the genre. I could make a fucking ranking of all the shitty visuals in the MM. But Midwest Angelica has the fantastic sound design, the graphic fidelity that really makes it feel like is something form the 80's and the CGI is integrated in a way that doesn't detract from the story.
The most viewed video has 50k views but is a year old, so yeah in comparison with the Wenditurfed slop you may get recommended it is very underrated even though I got like 5 different videos talking about it that kind of spoil what the story is about but not the good bits, so you are OK. Act 1 finished 2 months ago and we got a teaser for Act 2 almost two weeks ago, so you can still jump early in the bandwagon.
As for my actual pick for most underrated analog, I have to thank our buddy TIMESIX (reason I said I wasn't completely sure this analogs weren't shilled before because he made a video on what I'm shilling). Arcadia TV by Chilling Abyss (3.36k subs) is my pick for most underrated. Granted, Arcadia has been going for half the time of Midwest Angelica and its most viewed video is 19k but Chilling Abyss really knows how to construct a horror atmosphere with almost nothing and I think no matter what I say about it I won't make it justice unless I spoil it. This one also is just getting started so if you wait for a month you will be there for the next instalment. Kino in case it wasn't obvious.
I promise you that these two series are worth your time. They feel like worthy successors of Gemini Home Entertainment and Local 58 rather than just MC wannabes.

This, among many other statements in this video and videos/tweets he's made in the past, really solidifies for me and should for most even moderately intelligent people Max does not appreciate people applying critical thinking skills to his transparent facade and bullshit arguments. No one with any understanding and intellectual honesty about why someone relies content creation as a primary or even tertiary funnel of income would accept such as fact.
He doesn't like anyone bringing up the extremely valid point that if there can exist people in the world low enough to commit CSA at all, there can also exist people low enough to recognize this being a near unanimously hated crime and see an opportunity to attain popularity and hero status via pursuing it. Why bring people like Charlie, on even the Melon into the conversation? What are they going to do besides raise a huge buzz for views, which then equates money even if indirectly.
I think thats what pisses me off about this guy the most really. He's entirely aware of how to, at least to average and relatively noncritical people, avoid a good deal of questioning about his motives by just dodging ad revenue and running things like a Patreon where the onus is entirely on the supporter at that point whether or not to give him money. It gives the appearance of total honesty by just diverting an income stream elsewhere and making it voluntary. Especially where he doesn't even really have to prove what the money is used for. And moreso, he sets up any potential critic for a fall by doing the content he does because it automatically creates the grounds for the strawman of "but he tracks down pedos though, why are you giving him shit?". You see such a mentality represented in this videos comments hundreds of times. He is entirely aware of this and uses it to his advantage in such a way that I find sickening.
In all honesty I think the real reason he disappeared is that he was getting way too much flak from his last controversy and had to abandon his previous platform. He was outted essentially as an emotional abuser who preyed on mentally ill drug addicts and girls with severe emotional issues and handled it like an r/incel user. This made him look like shit regardless of the bullshit he makes and I feel like this an attempt to rebrand and pick up where he left off as if that all never happened. How fucking genuine.

It is because he has a thread that does showcase his behaviors in a pretty negative light already.
If it were to get out also could ruin him more especially after his abusive behaviors got outed.
The thread explained he had a patreon update thing for all his "pedohunting," which anyone who gave him money could see and fuck with directly while he was "investigating."
This is bad because stuff like that could cause a dismissal in court aka max is harming the victims more by doing this shit.
