New video from Tik-Tok/Reddit: the po-po talking to Daniel after the Panera Bread incident doesn't believe that Daniel is sober after hitting himself so severely he causes himself to bleed. The officer very calmly explains to Daniel that what he is doing is not normal, and that he is both crazy and trespassing.

The interesting thing is that Daniel has completely calmed down when somebody with actual power has confronted him, showing that these are just temper tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants. He doesn't sound scared at all, and just sounds angry.

Daniel used to draw on his grandmother's walls and misbehave (he lived with her until he was 20) and instead of punishing him, she would reward him with cookies. Also explains why he had such neglectful and abusive parents to begin with (non-disciplining grandma, neglectful & abusive mom who had CPS take him away).

Nah, self-harmers like Daniel are definitely not doing their heads any favors but they don't hit themselves that hard. They do it for attention and to try and convey sincerity (his mom abused him so that's how he thinks it works), so they know where and how hard to hit themselves.
It's possible Daniel had one instance where he did smash his head with serious force and decided he'd never go that far again.

It’s fascinating how each police department gets their very own new fresh experience with Daniel Larson. There is a reason tard helmets and mittens exist. Larson gets himself in situations where he's too damn overwhelmed and proceeds to stim by going apeshit and beating his head and face. Many tards are equipped with these accessories since their stimming is always self destructive, especially those on the lower end of the spectrum. Based on what I've seen in that news story about him, he was definitely on the mid to lower mid part of the spectrum.

Worst of all, no one can really articulate where the funny is or why he's interesting. It always seems like the people interested in him, here included, are under 15 years old and simply haven't encountered an unpredictable crazy person in public before, so seeing one for the first time is somehow comedy.
