There's part of me that wants to get it regardless just as a "back when times were better" momento. But that requires me to give Nick a shipping addresss, or some recipt showing I was a member at the time he promised the gift, and I'm not interested in that.
I wonder if he's gonna require that we be currently paying to get access to the gift, otherwise it's forfeit or some shit. It wouldn't shock me, that's for sure
He's claimed that he would just email out a coupon or something and the actual address would be given to the company making it and that he has a list of the first 5000, who will get it no matter what. Can't wait to give the good folks over at Balldo my address for the 5k grift.

You'd be hard pressed to find a culture in which external validation is regarded with less importance than the Scandinavian. Generally, we couldn't give less of a fuck about other peoples' opinions
Not trying to go too OT here but are you serious? What about Janteloven? (In Norway and Denmark.) It literally says, "You're not to think you are anything special". It's pretty conformist, as far as the Western world goes. There's nothing close to that in the U.S.

The Law of Jante (YAN-tuh, Danish: Janteloven [ˈjæntəˌlɔwˀən, -lɒwˀ-])[note 1] is a code of conduct[1] originating in fiction and now used colloquially to denote a social attitude of disapproval towards expressions of individuality and personal success.

being a shit, unprofessional, lawyer

It looks sort of like he has trouble reading social cues. I wonder if there's a name for that particular mental disability.
I think Balldo does it deliberately. He's a teenager who's read 5 pages of "The Art of Seduction" and attempting to play some evil mastermind character.

lol this nigger is beyond a parody of himself at this point.
Balldo, did you know you can use email Cc to send them en masse? Please do that, please Cc every single one of your Locals simps in the email.
BCc is just one sequence away from BBC, you don't want to give your haters ideas. Use Cc.

What a perfect example of the point I was making! Thank you. "You're not to think that you're anything special", i.e. your opinion means less than shit. There's nothing conformist about it - it simply means that your alleged authority will be challenged.

EDIT: That's also why Americans elect "leaders" whereas we elect "representatives". If someone was to pronounce themselves as a "leader" of the country a large percentage of the population would oppose them on principle.

This is such unbelievable cap. You can get a free Google Workspaces trial and BCC 1,000 people a day from a noreply address. I cannot imagine this taking longer than 2 hours, tops.
Better yet, make a Locals post titled URGENT: 5K SUB G(R)IFT, push it out to everyone’s email and have them resubmit their shipping information. That way you only have to send it to the ~150 original subscribers that are still retarded enough to give you money, Nick.

I wonder how many original 5K subs lurk or post in this thread?

I had forgotten about the LOCALS e-mail feature.

My uni just used a free version of MailChimp for clubs. It could handle it.

I'm on the fence. I'll have to see if it is something interesting (or if it happens). I am sure that I could find a hilarious purpose for it, if nothing else.

Viva Frei and Robert Barnes briefly weighed in:

https://youtu.be/7CeET9wsWmE?si=sp7FFG_feTRc0KHN
I think Barnes said the same thing I’ve been told by lawyers in my family have said “It’s fucking impossible to win medical malpractice” and the case basically proves that baring having a sex offender take pictures of a sick child you won’t win.

I think Megan probably followed the case better than most of the lawyers because the biggest thing is that the Medical Director was a retard who broke HIPAA and a lot more shit. She might not know the law, but she’s aware that you can’t have people acting as the police and getting away with it when they fuck up.

Why are we even pretending like he should be using a free version? With how much money is involved, he should be paying top dollar for it. It’s not like mass email software is expensive. I used to use it professionally

The 5k grift might be the best example of him gaslighting, holy shit. I don't know how anyone can hear that and go "oh ya, he's sincere".

"I could do that, but I don't want to. It'd be easy, but I won't."
He bitches about personal expenses as an excuse to forego professional obligations and hopes people don't pay attention to his $100,000 Mustang and all the vacations he goes on.

they probably still have no quarter for a lush leering drunkenly at their women.
Actions like that are the reason the phrase "acting like a nigger' was invented, and honestly its true. Even Nick's whining is about wanting to act like a nigger around whites. Nick's biggest fuck up of the last years is being talked into moving into bumfuck rural Minnesota. His degeneracy would not even shock people in the twin cities. He should have moved there. not to PL but post-school i moved into the city and was Nick-esque, the difference was i wasn't even old enough to be trusted with a rental car and because i was the token white guy at most workplaces it wasn't a big deal, the only person not acting like a degenerate is the district manager. everyone's either high or trying to fuck. every bathroom, janitors closet, or dumpster has been fucked in if you're in city limits. the cookouts and church functions are more softcore but guys will still be leering at women inbetween rounds of spades. Nick's honestly just a wigger in an all white community. Literally has the life Matt Mccusker would have had if he didn't follow his dreams and sacrifice his trust fund to do them. Unironically it worked out for the best too. getting your wild and crazy days out of your system in your teens or 20s is the only way to become normal as an adult for a lot of people. I'd say thats also a reason for the increasing length of childhood, helicopter parenting and crack down on teenage shenanigans led to us going from boomers being crazy teenagers and married with kids and a career at 19 to gen X waiting until they're 26 and graduated college and moved before even settling down and millenials hitting 30+ before they get married for even the first time. And the ones that don't follow that delayed adulthood path end up like Nick if they get FOMO easily. Of course there's plenty of moral people out there but the best way to deal with raising someone in the Nick archtype is to let them flap their wings and fall, let them have a little fun so that they dont end up miserable fucks who married the first person they fucked. even super conservative 3 time nixon voting boomers would tell you that (and they did thats who wrote ferris bueller)

Because his parents didn't let him let out his inner Limp Bizkit 25 years ago now they're paying the price today. I'm surprised people here arent focusing more on it, but Nick telling his dad to fuck off when he wanted to join him on the trip to Mar a lago was heartbreaking to me. Its clear he still hates his parents in a way most people move on from as teenagers. The best thing in life as an adult is to be able to give back to the people that raised you, to see that child like excitement in their eyes that you probably never got to see because they forgo their own fun in order to keep you alive and healthy and on a good path. To help the newly retired parent drunkenly stumble to their bed because for the first time since they started working they can finally let loose and don't have to worry about helping their kids onto the bus in the morning or driving to work. If i got the chance i'd invite everyone i knew to a party at the rightful president's white house in exile. I don't really remember nick talking a lot about his parents but this seems like the first time they (especially the father) wanted something from him. Supporting him as much as they have this was probably the only time that his eceleb fame outmatched their riches. they are probably huge in their state and have been at charity events with the governor and senators but a premiere with all of boomer's favorite e-celebs would have been amazing to them. The type of story they'd tell their friends the rest of their lives, it would be especially meaningful considering up until 5 years ago they probably never got to talk about nick's accomplishments.

Instead Nick used it as a free week off of "work" and to show off him and his wife. I doubt they even did anything that they couldn't have done literally anywhere else. No one else there even really wanted to be around him, there was fuck all done in terms of networking. Unless Nick went to some swingers event down there as well it was a massive waste of time outside of having a free week off of streaming and getting to fuck his wife in a hotel. When he could do that literally whenever, his oldest could easily watch the others for a night. I'm sure this is "just a phase" but even if nick sobers up we're going on quite the long span of him trying to be the Minnesota Masterson.

Also does anyone have access to the Dick Show facebook? that would be the easiest way to check if Nick was just as much of a weirdo. i'm sure if he still has a facebook account or others do you can look how he talked in the comments on posts back in 2017/2018. the Alcoholism might be a lot worse but his other qualities were probably all there and it would prove if the pious man persona he had a few years ago was really a mask or not

This had me super fucking confused until the comments made it clear that he was talking about Americans. As a Scandinavian, nothing about this characterization made any kind of sense.

I dont think he is even talking about Americans in a broad sense. Something seems to have happened in his former local church community and he somehow decided to make something ethnic out of it. He has always made it clear that he hates the area where he lives and he only lives there because of his wife. Its also common within alot of religious communities that people who become public degenerates tend to get shunned or ignored.

The two largest ethnic groups in the area he lives in are (1) German-descent and (2) Norwegian-descent. The area is intensely conservative and went overwhemingly for Trump in 2020. Rather than representing anything "Scandinavian", its more representative of the small-town rural United States.

I took his complaints about "Scandinavians" as just an extension of his recent complaints about how religious people are "monsters" compared to sex workers and swingers. He is just making wild attacks on anyone who doesn't follow his lifestyle.
