Did they ever actually improve their abysmal answer rate and training for volunteers? If not, shuttering might be for the best.
I can get the need for specific hotlines for minority populations, but I don't trust TLL and haven't ever since the thread was first made here that exposed that they rarely answer calls and don't provide volunteers with adequate training.
