Women Metalheads Rise Up

have you heard about that one orthodox metal album?
You mean the one we have been discussing throughout this thread?

For fuck's sake, don't take his bait. All he does is shit up threads. I don't want him to ruin a beautiful thing like this.

To bring this back on topic (and to provide a band with woman involvement), there's Virgin Black featuring Sesca Scaarba on cello and guitar:
My brother in Christ, I respect what you are doing, but I am a dedicated Q&Aer and shitposter. I know what he is doing. I love you, but lol. Thanks tho.

Without exception, every last Corset Metal band compensates for their obvious lack of substance with forced symphonies that feels contrived, hollow and bombastic. None of them have the taste or discretion build to anything properly. Corset Metal skips straight to what would be the climax for a band with some subtlety. Nothing they compose can be enjoyed viscerally because they're bereft of catchy riffs, heavy grooves or atmospheres to evoke a particular feeling. All the music conveys is strained "epicness". And then, their awful music videos shot in the middle of a forest with awkward quick edits and the lead singer in either a corset (as the title implies) or a bride's gown.
oh sorry I didn’t know this genre of metal was such a strong topic of contention. I understand your views but honestly I don’t listen to enough of this genre to have strong opinions on it. I like I couple of songs from corset bands, but I never end up like corset bands as a whole yknow
And don't get me started about those utterly banal lyrics. The songwriting of every last one of these bands are profoundly moronic despite being one of the more prominent focuses of the music. Every song from Epica has terrible meter, clunky lines and dreadful choruses. I've heard fucking one note Brazilian Metal bands and RAC bands that learned English by rote write better lyrics.
Haha lmao

Currently obsessed with In This Moment, particularly The Promise. She screams, he screams, they scream together. His voice is so rich and they just compliment each other.
Just more metal duets in general, please!

And for something on the newer side The Purge

If you want to go with lesser known bands and a deeper growl rather than a scream, I suggest Seven Spires and their Gods Of Debauchery:

This, all of course assuming female-lead metal bands count as well? If not to add to the Christian metal discussion, the entirety of the game Killing Floor 2 is Christian Metal.

Just to reiterate my post in another thread, Myrkur sucks. This video has wonderful recommendations of Black Metal bands with women in them:

The thing is, that I just don't care. I am "over the hill" when it comes to labels and subgenres, I am okay with her work. I am way too old to give a damn about all that.

Back on topic, Onielar's work in Bethlehem is where she truly shines.

Is this thread for female fans or female bands? I am the former. Enjoy the latter.
Saw these gals at Maryland Death Fest. Sick all female Japanese grindcore, or at least used to be. I think they let a scotum sack in eventually.
You broads have horrific taste in metal lmfao
Bathory is a great band. Stop being a niggerfaggot and post metal.
