Big Joey Concepts is tweeting about Israel and Hamas because they’re really all about…

IMG_1464.jpeg

1. It seems important that the two reactionary movements that have experienced the most success with liberal media share a strategy: the conflation of personal identity and political ideology. Terfs only ever speak as “women”; apologists for Israel refer to the state as “Jews.”

2. (Obviously the scales are *wildly* different, and the legal suppression of trans people in the U. S. and the U. K. has little in common with the genocidal violence directed against Palestinians. I’m not making claims about anything other than right-wing comms strategies.)

3. It’s almost a parody of “identity politics” as it is caricatured by the centrists who (believe they) oppose it: there is no criticism of an idea that is not also a criticism of, and even a threat to, (a) those who hold that idea, (b) any group of which they are a member.

4. I’m thinking about Ferenczi and identification with the aggressor: an encounter with trauma whereby the traumatized mirrors, internalizes, and then re-externalizes the “will of the aggressor.” The subject then adopts the aggressor’s guilt, which must now be processed again.

5. In both cases, power seeks to legitimize itself by enacting only the fantasies of violence that it can project onto the other, however distorted and grotesque the projections.

6. I’m reminded of 24, in which one of Jack Bauer’s main grievances was that the “terrorists” were forcing him to commit ever more extravagant acts of cruelty— decapitating a minor crook in a season premiere, eg—forcing him to think like them. Complex racial disidentification.

7. It sounds fanciful to the point of surrealism, but this was U. S. policy: it’s what the 9/11 commission report meant when it argued it was “crucial to find a way of routinizing, even bureaucratizing, the exercise of imagination.”

Bunch of words with no train of thought that repeatedly digress into incoherence and obscure references to state the obvious again. Thanks, as always, Dr. Lavery.

Like can you even imagine if we had some well known terms for the idea without needing to reference obscure psychoanalysts with borderline gibberish theories:

Anything really:

Maybe even something with "Jews" in it?

Oh, well, nothing. It just sucks that the 9/11 Commission wanted to bureaucratize this idea which shows just how dangerous of times we're living in now:

the conflation of personal identity and political ideology
oh no, this has never happened, i'm sure it's not the linchpin of your entire movement or anything. what a retard.

he is truly, truly retarded. "I'm reminded of 24..." Shut the FUCK up. He is the worst "pretending to be smart" person I have ever beheld. Try forming a single coherent sentence.

One of the funnier if frightening aspects of modern academia is the more brutish and horrible a group of nonwhite people are, the more like "queer thinkers" are to rush to their defense. There's plenty of moral complexity and history to Israel and Palestine, but honestly, I'd be more inclined towards the former just because people like Grace are so besotten with the latter. Though, ironically, of the pair, Israel is without a doubt the one Grace could visit without being immediately murdered. It's actually kind of an interesting variation of the idea of the imperial core and the periphery. In the imperial core, we call jokes violence. In the periphery, throwing gay people off the roof is considered a cultural quirk.

There's a somewhat consistent pattern with degenerates. For some strange reason, pathological urges to commit treason against one's community, or at least the community's culture or ruling ideology, is co-morbid with sexual degeneracy.

For some strange reason, the further you sink into sexual hedonism, the more you hate your community and those closest to you. Many are even outright misanthropes.

That's why you got so many fags and troons simping for an arabic "community" that's barbaric and primitive even by the low bar set by the middle east as a whole. It's also the reason why you got troons in the military selling secrets to the Russians, another country that isn't necessarily friendly towards fags/troons.

They side with people or ideologies that oppose western civilization at any cost, even at their own potential expense.

While not supporting Israel isn't necessarily "treason," the contrarianism is still there. A tendency towards self-destruction (in a way that's seemingly unrelated to their degeneracy) and a pathological need to side with one's mortal enemies.

It also makes sense when you realize that queers might feel kinship with any barbaric, anti-human ideology like Islam, because LGBTQP ideology is also a barbaric, anti-human ideology.

They simply don't care that zionists and corporate fat cats are the closest things to allies they are ever going to get in a world that's rightly sick of their shit. They will whine about zionism and pink capitalism regardless, because they hate society and humanity in general, and "capitalism" is mostly used as a meaningless buzzword anyway.

The fact that Grace, like most leftist commentators, defaults to viewing this through an American racial lense of "whites" dominating "brown people" is pretty telling. Despite what certain idiots on Twitter think, most Israelis aren't descended from white looking dudes from Brooklyn. A pretty substantial chunk of them are from various Middle-Eastern countries. If you got a Palestinian and an Israeli dude to stand next to each other in the nude, you'd have the premise of a transgressive, heartwrenching gay porn you probably wouldn't be able to guess which was which. Hell, European Israelis tend to poll much more sympathetically towards Palestinians than Mizrahi, who tend to be much more right-wing. That's a terrible irony of the modern west. Because we're pretty much the only cultural strain that likes to take ourselves to task for our own flaws, a lot of young people today genuinely think racism or nationalism or any other kind of bigotry are purely western inventions. Thus, when they encounter conflicts in other part of the world, they either frame it American style, or decide the side which most reminds them of America. Israel is a representative democracy that doesn't kill gays or aposates, so ironically you get kids who sincerely think Hamas wants to build a secular, puralistic Palestine.

I know some things are so stupid that only a PhD in some esoteric field would find them intelligent, but.....

Do you think that Joe and Mallory are smart enough to understand that they would be seriously fucked if they lived in Gaza? I'm not so sure they realize that their brand of "fabulous" would be tossed off of a rooftop.

(Which is one thing that I couldn't blame Hamas for if it ever happened, tbh.)

There's some kind of fast-spinning wheel of rejection and being rejected.
  • I reject your norms by being deviant which is superior
  • I have been rejected by the normie lower elements for being deviant
  • I re-reject your norms because I have been rejected for being deviant which is superior
  • I have been re=rejected by the normie lower elements for re-rejecting your norms because I have been rejected for being deviant which is superior
:::whirring sound gets louder and louder as the wheel spins faster and faster:::

Joe tried and failed to find something superior about himself and had to settle for exhibitionism - that is, making the normies go GAK.

Yuh, normies, you can't stand how radical I am, huh? Well here, gak it up while I suck the cocks of terrorists. Are they watching, Danny? Are they?!?!?! Ooooo, now I'm soooo superior.

Why would Joe be murdered in Gaza? If anything ME men would be thrown into fits of jealously over his uncanny ability to always sport a thick five o clock shadow.

Joe and Dave are damn near neck and neck in the contest of lowest effort troon. Even if he showed up at that bombed out hospital covered in pronoun pins wearing an “I AM A TRANS LESBIAN WOMAN” sign everyone would assume it’s a lark.
