Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

A local free-roaming mauler has graduated from killing small dogs and other pets to trying to attack children.

The childrens' mother is then encouraged by a meth head to have her children reward the nanny with treats.

It sounds like the lady means "furbabies" when mentioning her "kids/babies" since she's talking about cradling a dog around for weeks, but either way, good Lord. Animal control seriously needs pics of the carnage happening in order to do anything about it?

Only pit mommies would try to encourage small children to befriend a dangerous animal. Why don't we put the kids in with the chimps at the zoo while we're at it?

This is totes normal guys, he's just "reactive", in that he reacts to any breathing with an indiscriminate desire to stop said breathing.
Just live in fear for the rest of your life, become a slave to the creature, and make your other dog's life miserable too by sticking him in a crate half of the day. And make sure you never slip up for a moment, or your dog is dead!

Even more evidence of a history of violence

I almost thought this was a rare moment of clarity, her saying that she needs to save her shihtzu. But no, she most likely is referring to the shitbeast.

Bam, successfully guitt-tripped into picking up the dog again. The best part?

It broke out of the kennel at the rescue it such a violent way it injured the top of its head. Despite the blatant display of neuroticism and the inability to contain it in a crate or kennel, she'll rotate it with her shih tzu, with a crate I'm guessing. It pisses me off some people show such blatant disregard for animals that they will house them with shitbulls without a second thought, consigning them to one of the most violent deaths imaginable.
What the fuck is with these morons and "muh separation anxiety"?

There's no dog breed ASIDE from pitbulls that goes "welp I'm unmonitored, time to kill every living thing in a mile radius".

A man has been arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty after a video emerged of him allegedly beating a dog with a shovel.

Footage shared on social media this week showed a man repeatedly hitting the dog in the garden of a ground floor flat at Pembury Place in Hackney, London. The pet was seen being taken to safety by police officers in a subsequent clip.

Police confirmed the dog was brought to an animal hospital following the incident on Wednesday, where it was treated for facial injuries. The animal is said to be in a stable condition.

No-one was present at the flat when officers arrived to make enquiries, police added. A man attended a police station on Thursday and was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty.

Local media said the dog, which was large and brown in colour, appeared to belong to the XL Bully breed. The breed has not yet been confirmed by police.

A spokesperson from the Metropolitan Police told the Mirror: "Police were called around 10.55hrs on Wednesday, 8 November to an address in E5 to reports of a man assaulting a dog in the rear garden of the property. Officers attended the location and found a dog with injuries.

"They were taken to an animal hospital, treated for facial injuries, and remain in care in a stable condition. No one was present at the address but a man has today (Thursday, 9 November) attended a police station and been arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty." An RSPCA spokesperson said: "This is a distressing video and we urge anyone who has first-hand information about this to contact us on 0300 1234 999."
Video from Twatter:

I hate shitbulls as much as the next person, but random animal cruelty like this is just as niggerly as what the dog's do IMO.

I agree.

I currently have a coworker trying to hock a pitbull puppy her family took in. A neighbor got arrested for controlled substances and animal cruelty for the 40 millionth time and now the dozens of pibbles her family hoards are abandoned.

They got the puppy fixed at least. She's a good person but like the majority, won't do what should be done. Nothing can justify animal hoarding and neglect (puppy was bag of bones, she showed me a picture) but you couldn't pay me to take a pitbull.

A judge ordered euthanasia of vicious pit bull on MS Coast. Then his own dog was found dead

Methhead's dog gets euthanized for mauling a child (curiously, there's no news article for when this happened, probably yet another unreported pibble nannying) so he retaliates by killing the judge's beautiful GSD. Stay classy pitparents.

Here's an article about the methhead a few years ago:

When they have to euthanize a pit bull they should euthanize the owner too. Not to put them out of their own misery but to put them out of ours.

Ah yes, targeting a judge. I'm sure this will go over so very well.

For some good news, the r/BanPitBulls subreddit reached 100K members on Wednesday afternoon (November 15, 2023). It was sitting around 50K just last year. The growth of the subreddit has been quite staggering to say the least. There'd probably be even more members, but many current members have reported being automatically banned from other animal subreddits just for having commented in this one.

I think this is a sign of people becoming more open about their dislike of the nanny dog menace, and more people hitting "peak pitbull" due to the constant attacks, deaths, general destructiveness, and the viciousness of pitmommies. Plus, all of the COVID puppies are hitting that magic age or did last year.
