It’s odd timing. Sure she’s hinted her blood sugar before and showed the monitor recently, but why now?
Yesterday she raged at Yaba, FFG and reactors alike. Her latest vlog was being annoyed at reactors while saying she’s unbothered. She tried to do some historical revisionism on BBJ last night and Frenchie shut that down within hours.
I guess it’s just the “water fast“ “diet meals” “gym” “6 pack” part of the cycle. Very mondoesque to clickbait her own worsening health. I wonder how Salah feels about all this…

I have little doubt that Chantal has Type 2, but home testing kits aren't great for diagnosis. Just not washing your hands before testing can throw the results off.

We all know she's not going to control her carb intake, so this arc is absolutely pointless.

Haven’t watched, but I gather from this comment that she hasn’t had a recent A1c or glucose tolerance test. Random BGLs are pretty useless.

We all know that even if she seeks medical help, it will be useless. She’s always been non-compliant with medical advice. She’ll be one of those T2Ds that relies totally on medications to lower her BGL, and even then the chances are pretty low that she‘ll take her meds as directed.

Treating it by diet means going low carb…that’s not going to happen. Do we think Chantal knows that potatoes, rice, pasta, ramen noodles etc are carbs and have no place in a diabetics diet? I doubt it! Can’t imagine what she would be able to cook and eat if she truly went low carb, because we’ve never actually seen her do it.

While I’d be pretty sure she was T2D, I do think she’s doing this to try to reinvent her channel and try to get back the weight loss community. I’ll give her two days, but the reality is that whatever she shows herself eating, will not be what she is actually eating.

I believe she went to a REAL doctor (instead of ER or urgent care) in Kuwait either because she's trying to get a resident visa or because Salah finally told her that she has to be more than a lump on the floor. Maybe both.

IIRC, she WAS told she was diabetic back in Canada. But I still believe the doctor who told her that dropped her for non-compliance. I may be wrong, but I don't think they would have given her Ozempic for PRE diabetes. She has been sliding by since then by showing up at places that would just give her immediate care for some immediate complaint.

Any which way, it will end up the way it always does.

And in her latest veejo she said she weighs in the 360s. 🤣
