Up until fairly recently it was considered common knowledge that a disproportionate number of serial killers engaged in crossdressing at some point in their lives, to the point where such behaviour was considered an early warning sign alongside stuff like bedwetting and cruelty to animals.

It was Rader. Some faggot journo published an ~anniversary special~ which caught his attention. His narcissism took over from there.

John Douglas wrote in his book on the subject that he suggested using a "super-cop" in the 80s to catch him. A police officer that did a ton of media stuff to seem like he was trying to build a relationship with Rader. It was suspected he liked law enforcement, so he'd fall for the "let's grab a donut and shoot the breeze" routine.

When he resurfaced in 2004 they did that and he asked if a floppy disc could be traced. No, no, said the cops. He used a disc at his church then at home, which data ended up buried in the Metadata on the disc. They had a name and a location. They subpoenaed his daughter's pap smear sample from the university she attended and DNA did the rest.

When caught he was shocked as hell that they lied to him. Then his narcissism took over and he confessed to everything.

John Douglas' book "inside the mind of a serial killer" and his daughter's book "the daughter of a serial killer" are fascinating reads. I found them after the discussion of him around the Seetheland faggot. She publishes some of his letters from prison, and you can smell the personality disorder.

I'm amazed they got a Judge to sign off on that shit, she isn't him, she's not under suspicion of any crime, she's not connected to his killings other than being his daughter... that seems like a gross Constitutional violation.
