somewhat amusing isn't this the thing people were making fun of the russian army for, making their soldiers pay for their own equipment and whatnot?View attachment 5510059

This is ridiculous and makes me dislike everyone in the military right now, because I'm at the point where I think it's 80% powerhungry faggots, and 20% normal boys trying to serve like they thought they would. You don't do this to your frontline men, you should flat out be saying VOID or EXEMPT due to POTUS faggotry and you take the hit when General Buttblaster walks over to you as his HRT makes his skin peel and wonders why you aren't making the grunts pay for something they were ordered to do.
Not quite. Mostly because the Russians were asking their soldiers to pony up for necessary kit before they even left, not after command fucked up and they needed to blame someone else. I can assure you there's plenty of both going on over in Slavland, though.somewhat amusing isn't this the thing people were making fun of the russian army for, making their soldiers pay for their own equipment and whatnot?
The Justice Department has filed federal criminal charges against Derek Chauvin, accusing the former police officer of using excessive force and violating the civil rights of George Floyd. Floyd died after Chauvin pressed on his neck for more than nine minutes on the pavement outside a convenience store last year in Minneapolis
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed a bill last week that would allow for non-U.S. citizens to apply to become police officers, and on Monday he defended the legislation against critics.
During a press conference where he spoke about legislation protecting reproductive rights in the state, Pritzker emphasized that the bill would be limited to individuals who are legally allowed to work in the United States, and who are legally allowed to possess firearms.
“We have the ability for people who are legally here in this country, and permanent residents and DACA residents, to apply for jobs as police officers,” he said.
Eventually, what was a ridiculous and radical idea is seen as a new truth. There is growing concern that we may be in the beginning of that cycle with the idea of a national police force. If so, the momentum needs to be stopped early, before it reaches critical mass.
No matter how much you think you hate journalists, it's not enough.
You're thinking too big. There simply won't be a debate. Why should there be? According to them, We all know Trump is a fascist traitor that wanted to overturn "our democracy" and give away state secrets. Why debate someone like that? You're thinking too small, they'll use an AI deepfake Trump, then say Trump is lying about it because he's angry about how badly he did at the debate, anyone who says it's an AI deepfake will be lablled a far right conspiracy theorist. Then a few months later they'll write self congratulatory articles about how they used AI to save democracy
Biden ends drought by pissing on everyone's legs and telling them it's raining.
“We have the ability for people who are legally here in this country, and permanent residents and DACA residents, to apply for jobs as police officers,” he said.
Yeah, they're asked a single question:Don’t police have to be able to get a clearance?
The US has never failed to pay its debt though, so I don’t understand why Moody’s is doing this. Can someone explain? Is it just a function of treasury coupon rates?
I am certainly amazed by Biden's economy! We are paying through the nose for energy when only a few years ago we were energy independent. We are paying through the nose for food when just a few years ago food was relatively cheap and there were no supply chain issues. Companies are laying off huge chunks of their workforce, reducing ad spend, and VC crutched propaganda mills are going out of business when just a few years ago companies were growing and Jezebel was still a thing!
On a far less sarcastic note, the RNC already publicly mentioned awhile ago they were not interested in engaging in future Presidential "debates" after the disastrous 2020 "debates", and Biden, or rather, his people have said the same thing regardless of who GOP candidate is.
You could just read the article, you know. They lay out their reasons there. The US has never failed to pay its debt though, so I don’t understand why Moody’s is doing this. Can someone explain? Is it just a function of treasury coupon rates?
tl;dr, Money printer isn't stopping, nobody at the wheel seems interested in even showing a token effort in stopping money printer. Surprise, not even banks like nations who seemingly create money out of thin air with nothing to back it.“In the context of higher interest rates, without effective fiscal policy measures to reduce government spending or increase revenues,” the agency said. “Moody’s expects that the US’ fiscal deficits will remain very large, significantly weakening debt affordability.”
Brinkmanship in Washington has also been a contributing factor, Moody’s said.
“Continued political polarization within US Congress raises the risk that successive governments will not be able to reach consensus on a fiscal plan to slow the decline in debt affordability,” the ratings agency said.
Yeah, it was worded very confusingly. It’s an ‘economic outlook’ for the whole country, not a credit rating. The credit rating is still AAA.You could just read the article, you know. They lay out their reasons there.

Oh hey, chocolate ration went up from 20 grams to 15 grams. Doubleplusgood!
They're doing it because the debt is becoming a speculative asset, the national debt is becoming so high and the pace its being added to is increasing. In 2023 the US government has been adding on about $1T or $1.5T per quarter, with intentions to increase this pace of debt acquisition. Make no mistake, the debt will be paid off no matter the state of the economy, even if a not a single person in the country is working and the tax receipts for the year is $0 the national debt will be paid, they'll just print money to pay it off. But the problem is money printing devalues the dollar, we're dealing with it right now after the covid-19 spending spree. The US National Debt is going through several changes in the near future, one is that a bunch of it will be refinanced at a higher rate which will increase the interest payments, the tax receipts since 2021 have been going downward meaning less income as well. Plus we keep adding to the debt. So more debt, higher interest payments and less income, a disaster in the making. Eventually the US is going to get to the point where interest payments become larger than what the US brings in as tax receipts and then the real sideshow begins. The US has never failed to pay its debt though, so I don’t understand why Moody’s is doing this.
