I agree with people saying he generally tries to act like Sam. But in this case he is aping CharlotteFang77

Not best example but his shtick is talking down to people and being deliberately provocative with midwit hot takes like this, and using moralfaggy language like "demon troll" and purposelly misppelling with "u" or "ur" to sound like they don't care. On it's own it seems like a stretch, but wait! There's more: Both have their own NFT collections, and when CharlotteFang77 had a coworker actually steal from their crypto wallet, Jet Neptroon pretended the same thing happened to him in a gay attempt at humour:

Jet doesn't only ape Sam, he's so devoid of a personality his behavior is entirely dependent on whatever is happening in the moment, hence the recently out of control ego after his fishtank success and immediate backtracking after pushback, tweeting about how the next episode is gonna be ass.

I think it was when Sylvia left. Vance although my original pick for who I wanted to win clearly wasn't interesting or shit stirring enough to keep on. He was too nice of a guy to make it to the end. Letty was the villain of the show and her winning would cause a massive backlash from the simps who funded the show and Josie of course was the fan favorite. It was clear Josie was going to win.

Oh 100% Sam already knew Josie was going to win by the start of the Cell 2.0. I think that's why he felt so bad and gave Letty the money he did. I actually really enjoyed the cell 2 and some of the hardest times I've ever laughed at the show were during it even knowing Josie was going to win.

But that's the great thing about the ending with Letty as she walked in thinking the grand prize was only $10,000 and walked out with a $20,000 2nd place prize plus a role in World Peace 2. While she didn't win 1st place she did really well getting more than she thought when going into the house in the first place.

Finally an episode that feels minimally sufficient in both length and quality. But still it's nothing to write home about, which only helps to magnify how the five first episodes were so hit or miss dodgy shit.

At this point best case scenario is either Jet is bullshitting (he isn't) or they push back season 2 to April, and I hope to God it's the latter. I wouldn't even be mad. The whole appeal of FT for a lot of people was that the contestants had no idea what FT was. If they get a bunch of FT spergs on the show, no emotion will be genuine and everyone will be out to be the most random and lulzy with no real soul.

This is like watching Jon come back after his elimination all over again. Maybe I'm just doom posting, but I think at this moment in time having people who know what FT is will compromise the whole point of the show and ruin the fun. Winter casting has you competing with prime football season, start of basketball season, holidays, family gatherings, low income, college finals, and a myriad of other shit that makes casting almost impossible and viewership at an all time low. Not to mention, having it be a twice a year event makes things rushed and also may ruin the specialness of the show due to it being more common.

Push the show back to April, make it a once a year thing, take a couple weeks off of work to refresh yourself, prepare accordingly. You don't even have to fix the edits, just don't blow season 2. April should be designated Fishtank season.

Agreed. Tbf though, the Japanese 5'1'' male porn star sounds amazing, so I'll be cautiously optimistic for Season 2.

Regarding Josie and how good/bad she was on Fishtank, the disparity seems to come down to how people think Fishtank is supposed to be. The majority that dislike Josie have this notion that Fishtank is supposed to be about the contestants getting on each others' nerves or something. For anyone who insists that the show was about anything specific other than an interactive stream house and failed "hellhouse," I'd like to know why they think that and if anyone involved with the show ever said as much.

There are entire days where Josie didn't say a word to other people in the house. I don't know how the fuck that gets a pass.

Well over 90% of the show's moments are cut. Vance has been done particularly dirty, I think we've seen him in the basement more than anywhere else. Frank did heaps and may as well have come and gone in a day based off the edit. That said, I think it'd be retarded to feature Josie working out in her room or something. A lot of people did stuff during downtime and they would do well to have shown clips of that to show what each person gets up to in their own time outside of challenges and goaded basement interviews.

I was going to respond to more points people made but the thread has moved on. If anyone wants, I'll follow up on anything but no minds are going to change. The essence is in perception of what Fishtank was/is as far as I'm concerned.

Episode 7 is one of the better eps so far but twice I found myself checking how much time was left before it was done and I still haven't bothered with the extras. The episodes have somehow made me less interested in Fishtank as a whole.
At least it covered some major moments but as an Airsoftfatty hater, watching that ogre romp around in high def nudity was fucking gross and I genuinely don't appreciate how prominently he was put on display. I just know if they bring him back for season 2 they're going to tell him to do it all over again...

At this point I'd rather let the entire season run again where I can fast forward through it at my leisure.

I really hope they'll get a black koreaboo just to see how it ruffles the viewers' feathers. If one were to draw a Venn diagram of FTL simps who fawn over anyone who has a vagina and overt racists, I feel the overlap would be pretty substantial. So it would be interesting to see the irresistible need to simp and fundamental values collide and without a doubt cause some major cognitive dissonance.
Similarly, I hope they get a MtF trans-person (preferably an e-girl) who isn't immediately obvious, so when it's finally revealed, the simps are forced to confront the fact that they were in fact lusting after a person who isn't a true and honest female. This is bound to cause some major cope among the viewers.

Agree they should just delay it at least a month or so. Better wait a bit and do it well than have a sophomore slump. Fishtank is like digital crack so on one hand I wish for more content (I'll watch even if it's really scuffed), but on the other I really wish for the show to succeed and have longevity, not do a shitty job and focus on fleecing paypigs and taint the brand.
