Firstly, people in their forties are NOT going to regular night clubs Clubs are full of kids in their early twenties. When the whole 'second summer of Love' kicked off back in 87/88 or so, I started going clubbing again for the first time in years. I was in my early 30's at the time -- 32/33 or so? I felt so fucking old. The average age of the other club goers would have been between 18 and 25.

Nobody was EVER hitting on me -- because I was a good ten years older than all the women. And when you're 22, that's like hitting on your grandpa. Nick would be 20 years older than the average club goer. Nobody in a regular club is ever hitting on him.

Secondly, if you approached a couple in my town and propositioned them in respect of a threesome or swapping, you're likely to get your jaw broken. The only venues where this isn't true is in swinger venues. Picking up other couples on the swinging scene is not 'dating' and bears no relationship to dating. It's desperate degenerate middle aged coomers looking for a leathery old hole to stab it in. It's fucking gross.
