Weird thing is, doing a quick search, it says both drugs are near identical except Nuvigil comes in smaller dosages & there might be a difference in what insurance covers. Not seeing how one could make Nick nearly homicidal & the other is fine.
My very brief investigation of Nuvigil vs Provigil last night revealed that Nuvigil was simply a purified isomer of Provigil.
Going back to high school chemistry, many molecules/drugs have a 50/50 concentration mixture of mirror image left-handed/right-handed isomers depending on how the bonds arrange in 3-D space.
In medicine, often only one mirror image configuration is actually an active drug while the other is usually just inert filler.
Drug companies often rebrand new versions of their product after some time on the market claiming they've made a purer, more effective version of their drug by only selling you a new version only containing the purified active mirror image handedness molecule. This also accounts for the " smaller doses", since it gets reduced roughly 50% by weight.
IRL though, it seems to mostly be marketing. I haven't seen much evidence that single-handed mixtures perform better clinically than the racemic ones.
Hence, Nuvigil should do the same as Provigil outside of the usual idiosyncrasies.
IIRC, the teratogenic effects of Thalidomide babies being born with seal hands due to the morning sickness drug was as a result of researchers not realizing initially that one half of the isomer configuration was toxic.
My mum had am adrenal issue and they tried the synthetic off-brand medication, but it haf different effect to the original name brand, so I do not totally discount this.
The universal thinking used to be that generic vs name brands were identical IRL.
The legislation used to be that generic drug manufacturers had to show "90% equivalent bioavailabilty" compared to the name brand products to get approved. Which was essentially considered good enough.
But now after all the COVID shenanigans and the fact that generic drugs are all offshored to Indian factories for pennies on the dollar, I'm more skeptical and have lost trust in everything.
Oh dear. Of course she has an OnlyFans.
I believe keanucthompson is Geno Bisconte's squeeze and Chrissie Mayr/Simpcast orbiter.
NSFW YT short
Geno Bisconte is a NY comedian and an Anthony Cumia orbiter with a show on his Compound Media network.
Nick met Bisconte on stream last year when Nick was helping promote Mayr's Florida content house weekend after Chrissie got her channel struck right before the event.
Keanu was also at the Florida event. I recall long segments of low-tier content (not with Nick) with male attendees oggling Keanu in a bikini in the pool along with that blonde who used to produce a whole bunch of reality, Big-Brother-esque shows but then got canceled.
I remember Keanu being in the pool because everyone kept commenting how flat chested she was compared to the more buxom blonde.
the kf consensus is rekieta will get a new contract but will be either less or at the same level as his old contract. it would only be a rekieta own if the new contract was multi-year and worth more, accounting for inflation, than his old contract
I think people just said it would be funny if it didn't get renewed. Most thought it would be renewed he would just have to take a pay cut.
This has been discussed at length. But in fairness to Nick, the general consensus on Nick's contract renewal on the thread has changed over time. Especially because Rumble continues to give deals to other low brow creators like Revenge of the Cis.
I think six months ago, the general consensus (or at least plurality) here was that Nick wasn't getting renewed.
But over time, this take has softened to a general take that Nick is going to get renewed at similar terms/get low-balled/get renewed but be stonewalled re: his boutique demands not to do the YT switch.
Of course, as mentioned here as well, given financial terms haven't been released and never will, we will never know for sure unless there's a clean break.
This isn't to noseguard, as Nick lies constantly. But the current gestalt re: Nick's contract on his thread has evolved and isn't monolithic.
Edit: typos and correcting a wrong definition
