Over social media it was going pretty viral that all the Black Friday "sales" was just the price reduced to what it was before being jacked up a lot. We didn't have the tv riots we used to have, and stores were actually pretty empty with not a lot of buyers. But it does seem that some corporations are realizing they fucked up and are doing actual discounts now.

A lot of consumers have moved over to online shopping, especially with people using Amazon and the websites of physical retailers trying to compete with Amazon.

I went to a bulk discount store forgetting what day it was (Black Friday) and didn't even have to deal with a line. Nobody cared it was Black Friday. Black Friday is dead. It's been a farce for awhile, with most real sales occurring throughout November, some of the best ones a week or two before Thanksgiving, to offload opverstock etc for the new year.

Cyber Monday has been insulting to customer intelligence because it's literally the same sales that have been going on all week.

Literally the only thing I want to buy anymore is books and maybe a gun, the things that people go out to buy on Black People Friday have been sitting in their living room since they got it because they haven't found a better, less Chinese one yet.

What's even worth going out to hunt for these days anyhow? TV's are dirt cheap as it stands. It doesn't really matter if you get one an extra hundred dollars off or not if you won't replace it for 10 years. Laptops? Nah, those got replaced by phones you bought on a cellular contract. PC components aren't going to go on deep discounts. Been ages since the last playstation came out. Clothes might be one reason to go out. There's just no reason to care about vapid consoomerism anymore. Millennials are poor and zoomers are poorer. They'll spend whatever free money they've got on weed and microtransactions.

Retail is dead and the internet killed it. Good riddance to that utter waste of human time and effort.

I didn't see any "real" deals. But a $50 gift card get $10 free is the best that it got along with 50% off a $30 item at Ace Hardware. I was in the market for a new push broom, so that worked out. Cyber Monday was a complete bust, everywhere. Chewy.com was giving random discounts off pet treats but no real deals on anything I normally buy.
How many Laptops and big screen TVs can people possibly need at this point? The same goes for the endless small appliance deals.

Yeah it was lame. Most of the items that said they were on sale were the same price all month, or had been previously discounted to better prices on previous sales this year. I didn’t even bother going to physical stores, maybe things were better out there. It seems like the only things with actual decent discounts were subscriptions and online services.

The only thing i actually bought on a “black friday sale” was a dutch oven that ended up getting cancelled by the store before shipping LOL.

There were deals out there, although niche-type shit in the main.

I purchased something or other on Black Friday and it was a good deal and saved a lot of money, but I knew what I was looking and waiting for.

We got Hulu for 99c a month this year and a year's worth of fancy skincare stuff for $170 for two people. We also got some good deals on clothes at Nordstrom, so I'm pretty good, man. I thought the deals were much better than last year.

Only thing I really gave a shit about was picking up some older games dirt cheap on GOG. Bought a few Christmas presents for family on Cyber Monday and that was it. Never gave a damn about retail Black Friday, bunch of crazy consoomer retards killing each other for cheap Chinese shit at Walmart

Best thing I saw this year was the candle day this weekend at bath and Body works. $10 any 3 wick candle. Store was empty by the time we got there.
