Indeed. I'm just talking about simple shit that they could have done to keep themselves from failing so hard. Unfortunately for them, they are too retarded to do extremely basic things like learning useful skills and saving money.

While I wish services like this were neutral, I am glad to see people who were cheering on the deplatforming feel the heat. You cheered on the Trust and Safety teams, you get what you deserve.

So now that their diaper is full, will they go to subscribe star with the political commentators?

They have a ton of different options, it's not like a Null situation. Before patreon, artists would just do individual commission payments through paypal or some other processor like venmo or cashapp. A lot of them still do just that. There's also pixiv and fanbox and others like fantia.

Their TOS originally said you couldn't use the service to host it, but links to external hosting services were fine. That changed at the behest of MasterCard, to the point that they now review all of your external profiles on other services for prohibited content, even if you never mention patreon there and never link there from patreon.

At one point I might’ve been sympathetic to someone losing social services because of their weird shit, but considering that a lot of these people have campaigned to have the Farms removed and have done this to other people on social media, I can’t feel bad. I’d like to take the high road but I just can’t do it anymore.

Fuck you, you’re hoisted by your own petard, it’s hilarious and I hope for all the damage you’ve done that you die in the fucking street this Christmas, homeless and alone.

As much as babyfurs creep me out, I have sympathy for someone who suddenly has their entire revenue cut off. It's no different than being unexpectedly fired from your job. It sucks.

However if your immediate reaction to this is to start e-begging and screeching on Twitter instead of, I don't know, trying to find new ways to make money ASAP, you are losing me.

It's so tiring to see this dance every time. You made producing degenerate shit your job? Cool, have 0 issue with that as long as I don't have to see it and you keep it away from kids. But don't come seething and malding when you get nuked off of a platform for it.
