Seeing a 33yo man without an intellectual disability orate about the sexual preferences of cartoon characters has ruined my day.

The castle in the background isn't even just traced, it's copypasted directly from official Zelda artworks without crediting the original creators.
When people pointed that out on Twitter, Dobson's reaction was essentially "lol, why is it a bad thing I copypaste art without pointing out where it originally came from?"

Just a reminder, that the 30-something-year old human male with the lesbian-fetish, needs to point out that two characters in a cartoon show, pretended to be married for the duration of an episode. He apparently knows no other form of entertainment. He just watches cartoons, or at best TV - doesn't he? I can't imagine any other reason why this would be worth pointing out to him otherwise.

He's trying to hold up the show as being "progressive" to his audience, the same as he did for the Ghostbusters reboot. He thinks it makes him a good person when he points out a show being "progressive," just like how when he points out something as "problematic," but the problem is he doesn't really what what either of those two words mean.

Having two female-shaped characters pretend to be married doesn't make it progressive, it's a plot for an episode of a 90's sitcom. And the 90's had Gus and Wally from Mission Hill.

This shit will always be confusing to me. Aren't the things from that show rock aliens from outer space? Why would they conform perfectly to the gender/sexuality of humans?

That is not even the message of that comic. The characters are essentially mocking human patterns of behavior and needs precisely because of how alien they are to them and are highlighting how weak and high maintenance biological entities are. Gems don't need to eat nor have any use for the needs human consider vital, hence why it is funny to them. The whole point of the comic flew right over his damn thick head.

Dobson lesbian fetish is so overwhelming in his mind that he sees even the sightless signs of camaraderie between two female characters as sexual because of the bias filter of his obsession. Deeper meaning? well fuck that!

It's finally released to scores I actually expected. Not surprised by the positive review. The more I think about it, the more I see Dobson like the ad that came out for the game, Blur. Both made shallow parodies which backfired on them big time (in both of their cases, people wanted the things that were parodied than the actual comic or game).

Edit: I realized one of the positive reviews was a joke. Thanks @DerSandstrom.

I understand where Dobson is coming from. I had a cheap pinball machine as a kid in the 90s, and I've always wanted to own a real good one. The kind you'd see in arcades. But to call it a dream is a stretch. It's something I'd like to own someday, like an old 50's car with the tailfins, but not something that would make my life complete.
