I think the posting of his plagiarism video might actually backfire on Hbomberguy, considering that people are questioning why he didn't go harder after Hasan, especially given tweets like this:

For whatever reason, when I used the Twitter video downloader sites on the video, the video would never work on VLC, but it does work on Windows Media Player. I also cannot attach the video to this post, so I'll have to make do with an MP3 file for now.

I'm reminded of Folding Ideas and Ordinary Things, two people who I'm quite sure I would vehemently disagree with politically, but keep it just far enough out of their content and are just witty enough to be bearable. Consider giving them a watch if you're interested.

If you are happy to make an account on YouTube, you can click the kebab menu, and select "don't recommend this channel" which is pretty nuclear and keeps it out of your recommended feed.

Also consider subscribing to channels you're interested in and only using the sub feed (https://www.youtube.com/feed/subscriptions?flow=2) to browse. Recommendations only serve to waste your time anyway.

I had the opposite effect, I was never into IH's earlier content but I found the fancy wine video entertaining enough to hold my attention from start to finish.

Folding Ideas could barely keep the seethe out of his critique of Doug Walker's The Wall episode. He all but said "Roger Waters' music video is near-required viewing in leftoid circles and should be considered above mockery due to it's political messaging." He didn't attack Doug for anything other than Doug not caring about the Anti-Thatcher jabs/Anti-Europe elements and instead taking shots at a poorly aged video the same way he takes jabs at religious after-school specials. Mock my enemy, not my allies should've been the video description.

What I took from that video was "he's not even critiquing it wth" rather than "do not critique the thing I like," which resonated with me.

Why did Todd think we needed two MORE hours? The coordination is amazing, especially now that James deleted everything.

Since Jenny Nicholson was clearly in on it too based on her instant comment I want her to somehow make this her yearly video although she's probably too lazy for that at this point.

Seeing lots of Hasan tweets, hoping this continues the drama spiral. Breadtubers should be praying they didn't go near plagiarism because people will be checking.

Which begs the question. What did this James Somerton guy do to receive the ire of his contemporaries? It's not like Breadtubers to pull the rug they swept another's dirt under for the sake of "integrity." I guess we will find out soon enough when the pieces start to come together. My bet is that this is their form of the harvest.
