As a tattoo homo, no. When you're sitting in the chair, you are paying by the hour (its been a bit, but for my area it was like 100$ an hour, which worked great if you had a heavy handed, fast as fuck "artist" that could follow the line work without fucking up). I mean, technically, switching out needles and colors could add to the time, but if the artist is efficient then it wouldn't take much time and wouldnt add to the price tag. But, depending on how big the piece is, some artists do the line work and shading in one sitting and then the coloring another (because of reasons I'm not sure of, but i always figured it came down to how sensitive the skin felt or how much the person sitting in the chair bled - mind you, i always bled a lot because i had thin blood from boozing). It really depends, i suppose, and there really isn't a "standard." At least, there wasn't in 2010. I'm old with old tattoos (but their line work hasn't bled out and their color still hasn't faded because I dumped money into them on a regionally recognized artist).

I'm assuming she wanted "traditional" black and white nonsense. Which means she wanted the most expensive Kia Rio that could be applied to her body, totally disregarding shading. Honestly, it looks like what she would have drawn in her highschool notebook around something she traced.

I never understood honkies getting non-colored tattooes. Unless the image they wanted tatted on them was specifically meant to be black and white (like a potrait or like the Metallica Black Album booklet), line work on white person's skin without color just looks like trailer trash, unfinished nonsense they never had the money to finish. For people who havent had, but want tattoos: SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY FOR ONE MORE SESSION AND GET THAT SHIT COLORED IN (if anything just to rub it into brownoes face that all their tattoos always look like prison tats no matter what they do).

I never understood honkies getting non-colored tattooes.

Black and grey tattoos have shading which gives them depth and dimension.
The vast majority of color tattoos just look like gaudy stickers.
Color is busy and looks tacky.
Different colors also fade at different rates so even if you got a full color photo realistic portrait, the yellow and orange tones would fade before the darker shades and in a few years it would look weird.

I mean just look at Anisa.
Her tattoos are *technically* well done, they just look awful.

This is a nothing point but she's really damaged her hair. Her previous pixie cut looked so much better because of how much healthier her hair was.

It looked like it was thinning after she went blonde and it was the most noticeable when she kept putting it up. (pic is a bit fucked, my apologies. I just went through her twitter and picked random ones) Her hair was thick but bleaching it seriously messed up her volume. You can see this really well in the platinum blonde and copper sections where her scalp is visible because her hair was thinning so much. Probably because she went from natural black to platinum in such a short period of time, which can cause hair loss. If she didn't wait to get her tattoo removed I doubt she waited in-between bleaching her hair. It takes a while to recover from if you aren't actively treating the hair loss and she dyed it after bleaching it without letting it rest. It's not permanent, but it doesn't seem like she takes very good care of her hair so it will take a while to recover to how it was. This haircut was probably the best decision she could have made for her hair health. Bleaching your hair like that is also pretty expensive, although not anything near her tattoo. Her hair wasn't extremely long but I can see it being a couple hundred (if not more) at a salon. Not to mention touching it up, products to maintain color, etcetera. Her hairdressers more than likely take advantage of her as well, if her tattoo artist is anything to go off of.

This is the second time they've messed up recording the podcast.
Earlier in the thread there was one that they lost the video to so, iirc, they put it up as an audio-only on patreon.
Both of them have been making videos for over 10 years, but they still manage to fuck up recording twice in the span of a fortnight, catastrophically enough that they write both videos off.

I gotta say, after seeing it used increasingly more often, I'm starting to genuinely dislike when the word "exist" is used instead of "thrive". "I'm just trying to exist as a disadvantaged trans woman, but society wouldn't let me", "Stupid capitalism doesn't let me exist" and so on. The only way it wouldn't let you exist is by directly killing you.

And to be more on topic, I don't think that Anisa's outrageously ugly, she's just plain looking and messes with her body needlessly. (BP, in general, often gets overly nitpicky and needlessly critical of looks, but I digress). Anisa's life would improve significantly if she worked on her self esteem and didn't rely on neverending drastic appearance changes to get validation through positive comments. But, then again, that trait is probably the main reason she has such a long thread, and it's not something you can alter of on a whim, especially if you feel no need to. The relationship between a controlling, attention-seeking woman and a meek autistic man seems comfortable enough for them to not attempt to change it.
