He's a child with a short attention span. He's the kid who screams and yells till his parents buy him a musical instrument and then gives it up a week later.
Think about everything he has done in his life. He wanted to be an artist, then an anti-war activist, then an engineer, then a journalist, then a CEO, then a video game developer, then a media personality, and now a journalist again. He probably tired of the dogs after a week and that's why they are neglected. He blew his Patreon wad on a VR system only to tire of that in a week. That motorcycle hasn't been mentioned in some time.
Wu tired of this game over a year ago. Being a big time video game developer with fans around the globe seemed great, but at some point he realized this was just going to be some small time indie title that required actual work. He didn't care that Frank probably had to sink a ton of his hard-earned money into it. Or that a bunch of people on Kickstarter pledged money. He was bored of it and didn't want to work so it got tossed aside like a child tosses aside a toy when a new shinier one comes into their life.
It's telling that Frank was the one who had to send out the Steam codes. Likely after he came home from an actual job. Brianna was instead writing an article about Gamergate for some online rag no one reads. Brianna couldn't be bothered to test the game, promote it in any meaningful capacity, or even set it up properly on Steam. Rewards like t-shirts and posters that were promised to Kickstarter backers aren't happening. Stuff like that takes actual work and it's more fun to tweet about the new iPhone.
I genuinely wonder if Brianna Wu is a sociopath. Just about every single sign matches up.
