KF could passively gather information on many things relevant to his show while also supporting Nick's ego. KF was essentially contributing to his "prep work" so it makes a lot of sense why Nick would be extra mad.

Nick getting mad at KF and throwing in with his Locals was a huge mistake.

Your skepticism is understandable. Whether Mandy talks to people or doesn't both come from her, and our Locals expert Himedall doesn't trust the ones who do corroborate because, well, they are untrustworthy. In this way, even if Mandy also conveniently had someone to corroborate with her YouTube comment, people could likely still say "not good enough".

That said there has been evidence of Mandy having doubts recently and even asking hypotheticals about Nick getting better in the YT comment section. It's not a voice-chat, but there is evidence of her having an interest in getting "old Nick" back and talking to others online about it.

Ultimately, who Mandy is doesn't really matter so much as their impact. Nick really likes Mandy, and consequently it matters to Nick more than anyone here who Mandy really is. Fake or not, Mandy is bad for Nick's marriage and therefore somewhat worth paying attention to.

I highly recommend watching the clip St. Elissa posted. I know Nick has had multiple emotional meltdowns on stream but that was one of the most hilarious yet. I pray God keeps this drunk alive so his cream-rich milk keeps flowing for years. I’d be legit crestfallen if he drank himself to death or drove into a wall while texting (safe at speeds up to 85MPH, according to Nick).
