ARLINGTON, Va. - Community members in an Arlington neighborhood were told to shelter in place Monday night after police say a flare gun was fired inside a home, causing a massive explosion.

Arlington County police put out the alert just after 8:15 p.m., saying the incident occurred in the 800 block of N. Burlington Street in the Bluemont neighborhood.

Police say as officers were attempting to execute a search warrant at the residence, a suspect fired several rounds inside the home, which led to the explosion.

Neighbor Alex Wilson told FOX 5 this came after an hours-long standoff with the suspect. He said he took notice of what was happening around 4 p.m. when police rolled up to his neighbor's home. Wilson said as time went on, it was clear the situation was only getting worse.

"Three hours later, at least, we saw the SWAT truck arrive and when the SWAT truck arrived you know, you’re like, ‘oh things are escalating at that point,'" Wilson said.

Neighbors were immediately told to avoid the area as a large response came from Arlington Fire and police.

The flames took hours to put out. Arlington Fire and EMS said the fire was controlled around 10:30 p.m. and crews were only battling small spot fires by that time.

Officials say only minor injuries were reported but it's not yet clear how many people may have been involved. The explosion knocked the power out for several homes in the neighborhood.

Dude was clearly full psychotic. Reason for his psychotic break is up to debate. He's way outside the normal age range for new onset schizo. Must have been a psychotic disorder. Given how long it went on for, I'm guessing something like delusional psychosis, the only question becomes what was the trigger? Was it acquired or organic disorder? I doubt they will ever know given how few pieces they will find of him.
glowie onset psychosis

Cameraman is an absolute Chad. Thank God the girl that can be heard wasn't the one holding the camera or all we'd be seeing for the majority of the clip is the wall beneath the window they were filming out of; money shot nonexistent.

And btw this isn't "misogyny" (okay maybe it is a little) but come on you all know it's true.

The "Oh no~" in the video was more funny than it had any right to be.

The dude who blew it up is one massive schizo hole.

There are some people who think that the newer channel is fake but it's probably real.

James created his original youtube channel @JamesYoo47 during November 2nd and he abandoned/stopped posting on that channel since Nov 7, 2023, his last video titled "RIGGED. THEY ARE ILLEGALLY BLOCKING JAMES YOO. YouTube one view vs. LinkedIn 1,494 impressions?"

A new account popped up November 9th with the same name, @JamesYoo_, which is very likely him making a new channel in his attempt to get Youtube to stop blacklisting him allegedly.

The nigga is schizposting live.

The standard American Orion flare launcher fires a 12 gauge shell. It will fire just fine out of any 12 gauge break action shotgun, although it may or may not have feed problems on self-loading guns. I don't know, never tried. I would not suggest making a habit of it - it will probably foul the barrel a lot quicker than a regular round.
Ahh that's good to know. I guess it's what I get for only looking at milsurp flares. Now to go buy some for...research purposes..

This is a violation of the first amendment and I'm pretty sure anyone who wants to see this channel has standing to sue.
It's clear from reports on the censorship industrial complex that the federal government is deeply involved in the takedown.
They don't have a right to take it down.
You can't have an imminent threat of harm from someone AFTER their crime has been committed, and certainly not when they're dead.
Any member of the public has the right to know the motivations of this man, and thus to see his publications, and thus has standing.

Step 1, suing the company alleging government cooperation on the weight of leaked documents (showing federal pressure resulting in changes to their TOS) and timing of channel takedown.
Step 2, using discover to get evidence of government cooperation.
Step 3, amending complaint to include government as co-defendant.
Step 4, getting a ruling that compels abandonment of that entire section of the TOS as government-sourced, the reinstatement of that channel (and all others).

Bonus: any other censorship activity attributable to government uncovered by discovery.

Well, if he isn't dead he's an evil genius because that was one hell of an escape. I think he's dead but time will tell. If he's alive where's he going. Fox News said he tried to sue his ex-wife. Could he try to kill her?

Fucking based sadly no cops were killed or maimed

This dude's lawyer should play that video in court and ask the jury directly if it's a crime to be badass

Two things. First do flare guns count as firearms?
Not exactly. They are more akin to fiteworks or explosives. The ATF regulates them a bit. Mostly in how they should be transported or stored (in quantity). And the sizes of flares you can buy for what application. But they are pretty much free to buy for Marine applications. At least to adults. Really most of the regulations are on the chemicals used to make them. Not the final product. Boats above a certain size and any and all commercial vessels are required to have them.

They're not considered weapons because as weapons go they are generally fairly stupid and useless.

What did this dude shoot the flare at? Because flares don't explode the whole house like that. Did he fill the house with propane or natural gas first?
