I was re-watching the stream, and I kept having to go back to the part where the 'rape list' is mentioned, because I had unanswered questions, and it turns out that one doesn't have to listen very long before answering even Josh's questions about why Maddox had hard feelings against Asterios, so this is the chapter: https://youtu.be/4Ic6oqqw89U?t=5758
tl;dw: people tend not to like regular jerks or 'male feminists' who make/defend/encourage detailed rape threats, especially when the threats are directly linked to one's loved ones and their personal information, go figure.

He said he didn't want something too high and energy, a poodle would probably require more exercise/stimulation than Josh has time for.

The correct answer is a Greyhound, specifically one that's relatively young and preferably hasn't been raced. They sleep like 90% of the time and don't really need too much stimulation/exercise. They still love it and will definitely encourage you to go out, but only really need about a 30 min walk a day.

a) They have one relatively thin single coat, so they don't shed much and require minimal grooming.

b) They don't drool unless they're panting heavily due to vigorous exercise.

c) They're pretty smart and usually have amazing personalities although they're not easy to train. I'd really emphasize getting a younger one and not an ex racer that has had it's brain kinda rotted due to being treated like livestock, spending most of it's life locked up in a kennel with little to no stimulation.

d) They're definitely purpose bred. Their instinct to chase specific types of small quick prey is pretty much universal, and while they aren't really used for hunting as much now breeders still focus on fitness and athleticism, rather than aesthetics due to the racing industry. This means they don't have a bunch of congenital issues, though they do have some health quirks that come with how specialised they are. Their blood chemistry is quite different to most breeds of dog so your vet should be familiar with the breed.

e) As mentioned above they like exercise but don't need much. Despite being relatively big dogs they're actually really suited to apartments since they're happy to just hang around and sleep most of the day.

f) I think you left this out because you know poodles fail it hard, but I'm pretty sure Josh mentioned not wanting a yappy dog. Poodles tend to be noisy as fuck especially if not given enough stimulation. Greyhounds on the other hand rarely ever bark. In fact if things start getting too loud, they'll tend to just look for a quiet place so they can get back to sleeping.

g) Greyhounds are elegant sleek high performance luxury cars compared to poodles the loud obnoxious homosexuals of the dog world. Poodles require constant grooming but still always look like really gay french aristocrats, while greyhounds requires almost no grooming, their natural slender aesthetic radiating a natural nobility that humans have revered and appreciated for almost the entirety of recorded history. Greyhounds are not fashionable fad dogs, they are the timeless ideal of what a dog should be. Needless to say they're far from some of the other breeds that similarly try to emphasis athleticism, but just end up creating roided up antisocial youths from disadvantaged backgrounds who are compelled eat infants (due to socioeconomic factors beyond their control).

h) Since in the modern world the money in greyhounds comes from racing rather than selling them as pets, you can also get them pretty cheap. In a lot of places they struggle to rehome them all after the racing industry spits them out. Again I strongly recommend getting one that was injured prior to ever being raced or wasn't ever raced for some other reason. If you get an older ex-racer there's a good chance they'll be nervous and scared of everything due to lack of proper stimulation/socialisation.

i) While some of the above makes them sound aloof greyhounds are also some of the most affectionate dogs in existence. They attach extremely strongly to their owners and while they don't constantly want your direct attention, they'll almost always be near you.

So yeah, greyhounds are objectively the best dog for Josh. They are also the best dog in general.

I'll say that yes, for yourself it's better and easier to adopt one that hasn't been used for races, because of the damage and trauma they put them through, but adopting one who was rescued from the races is a very nice and good thing to do, if you feel capable of helping a dog through it.

There'd be difficulties, but it's not like adopting a fighting ring shitbull.

Also say what you will about Critical Drinker, but it's nice to see in any of his streams the dedicated dog camera, and his greyhounds are sleeping for 90% of his long ass streams. That's how cat these dogs are.

Depending on where you are, there may be organizations dedicated to rescuing them, so you can get them for free or a small processing fee. They often have puppies, so it's not gonna be all damaged adult rescues.

Starting around the 1:05:00 mark, Keffals, drop kiwi farms, and the farms are discussed, and everyone on the panel seems pretty reasonable. Muta criticizes cloudflare and how this decision will hurt their business. He also unequivocally describes the farms as "operating lawfully" and points out that the ddos attacks are a crime.

It's like when you introduce Matter with Anti-Matter. Both just cease to exist. Sure the neighborhoods might burn for a while, but that just means less fathers are necessary in the long run.
 
Idk what's causing it but the past few streams I listened to, though I haven't listened to the most recent one, have weird micro-mute moments in them that apparently aren't just the mic but the stream audio itself. It sounds like one of those youtube videos where there's a cut to remove pauses every few words.

Breaking out a capybara for "big news" would be a pretty funny shtick. Dunno Null's position on them though, people seem oddly polarized on them being either water-rats or giant adorable hamsters.

It is an open secret most large youtubers uses the farms because they're all drama whores now. I assume you're at least familiar either out of necessity or fear of the farms after a large amount of subscribers on youtube. Jewsh isn't lying when he says this website is a content mill a lot of people need for videos. It also acts as a useful no man's land for them as the commentary community thread shows with drama youtubers directly feuding with poster.

I'm not autistic to go find it but I know I remember hearing Ian Miles Chung admit to and apologize for flashbanging the dog on stream. I can't remember if it was Kumite or Kill Stream but I remember laughing my ass off well the person confronting IMC was banging on about the pedigree and value of the poor pup.

For sure, it is nice though to see someone fairly "normie" tier defend the farms so reasonably and without doing so behind a bunch of KYA boilerplate. He thinks the farms is a legal website and that it shouldn't be gone, simple.
