Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't 175lbs roughly the average weight of a 6ft tall man? Not that there's anything terrible about being a thick bitch since that's more en vogue these days, but it's funny that it should be normalized in any kind of way. If you're unwilling to take the steps to change your weight, why not be happy with it and accept yourself? That's part of the emphasis on external validation thing I don't understand.

I'm guessing it's higher than that. Everyone is fatter in general these days. However, 6'0 and 200 is 27.1 BMI (overweight) but 5'4 and 175 is 30.0 BMI which is OBESE.

I don't agree with a lot of what null does or how he sometimes goes about/phrases things, in this case he is addressing a rumor about a user (which, let's be honest, is coming off like insincere butthurtery about their posts) and he's imposed this rule unilaterally on both threads but people are still doing it and have been. I always duck out when people start bitching about other users because it makes the thread really boring. That shit's better off on your profile pages or something or in the middle of actually replying to their posts.
If you need perspective go on reddit and you can read pages and pages and pages full of people way worse than any other regular KF user.

S/he started the gender wars, endlessly bitched about the dumbest shit like some Sarkeesian clone from 2012, and the reaction from a male-dominated website was obvious, i.e. trolling and multiple threads.
The multiple threads that sprung up were basically a janitorial fault, because jannies banned all dissent from the Man Hate thread.
For example, I was banned for very light hearted banter, I never made a single post hateful towards women, but just the banter was too much for the lady thread.
How is that reasonable moderation? Of course people will seethe if they are excluded based on sex from an area of the forum.
Additionally, this forum is made to laugh at idiots, and making a thread crying about males (or females) is being turboautistic and idiotic, so it's reasonable that people are expecting to be able to dunk on you until your ass gets sore.
If you want the gay infighting to stop, remove this sex-based segregation lunacy and only deal with actually hating people that LARP that they want to see the opposite sex die and suffer.
Instead of dealing with these spergs posting suicide pics as if it's a positive thing, and people threatening others with rape and other lunacy, we had this thread split and people allowed to fester in their irrational, low IQ hatred.
