Or to put it simply, I don't get it.

Speaking of "woke" media, any backlash from ESG guidelines is automatically categorized as bigoted or intolerant. Yet, those same people will remain silent when those ESG metrics are omitted out in other countries. Many Arab countries enforce a strict ban of homosexuality, or in China's case, no brown people front and center. Guess what? Silence.

The French fucking deserve it, though. They, the Belgians (Leopold II in particular), and the Dutch were among the absolute worst, most barbaric colonial powers. You can tell because even after decolonialization, the English are still on good terms with most of the countries they colonized, which are more or less better off for having been colonized.

I assume you're referencing "Leopold's Ghost", the book which claimed a death toll of 10 million? Alt Hype actually had a good video on it.

The French also had to fight the Algerian slave trade, which sold over 1.2 million Europeans. So I'm not upset Algeria got colonized.

I’m reminded of the time that Free France stationed a bunch of sandniggers in occupied Italy, who then raped entire villages.

In comparison, the British made sure that their shitskin troops were never used in substantial numbers in Europe because they knew that shit would happen.

If they didn't want to get "colonized", they should've defended themselves. Unfortunately for them, at the time they were still jungle monkeys fighting with bow and arrow, and they seem to have retained the same mindset a hundred years later. Seething so hard over something that happened so long ago... Lol!

Goes both ways. "Should've had better weapons and technology if you didn't want to get colonized" ? "Should have closed borders and not relied on immigrants for cheap labor if you didn't want to get colonized".

Keep in mind, I'm being pretty charitable with my analogy by equating actual colonies with disingenuous extreme edge cases that don't really represent much about Paris, like "filming a marketplace at a poor district with lower rents and therefore a lot more immigrants, trying to make it look as bad/dirty as possible so the viewer can associate the two". You could just as easily make Paris to look like a perfect place by cherrypicking and proper framing. This video doesn't articulate any meaningful, data-supported point about the current state of Paris, no matter what you think it is. Which is not surprising: the original tweet was made by someone who doesn't even live in France, let alone Paris.

But again, even if I'm being extremely charitable with the original point and agreed with the farfetched premise that Paris was in fact in a state you could call "colonized", then "sucks to suck" would still be an appropriate answer. You can't just cherrypick instances where "might makes right" apply.

What they don't talk about is that the state government and whatever board each school district handles funding for each school. These posts for higher pay with teachers sound hollow since the education system has no problem victimizing children and shunning concerned parents. I'm sure these school boards have plenty of money just embezzled or mismanaged for personal/political gain. Let's also not forget that this particular institution leans left with various results.
