Claims include that her birth parents sold her to pedophiles and made kiddy porn of her for drug money and got away with it (which might be at least part true, there's proof they were terrible drug addicts who lost parental rights, and no one seems to know where they are now) she was a child actress and her adoptive family stole half a mil from her (or was it that she had 10-20k in a trust she couldn't access until she turned 25?), that she was raised in a cult and not allowed to wear pants (she was religiously homeschooled but they attended a normie megachurch and yes she wore jeans), that she's been disowned by them, that they seem like great people "until you cross them," and that she was bedbound by 22 because of EDS and couldn't do anything without her boyfriend's help. The reality was much more mundane: she's your typical cluster b clusterfuck who held her adoptive family's lives hostage with fake illnesses and suicide threats. They "disowned" her because she moved out to live with an enabling boyfriend who she'd been sending nudes to since she was a teenager and then accused them of all sorts of shit.

Pineal cysts are super common, usually incidental findings that cause no issues. About 1/4th of the time there's a thin calcified layer around them which isn't typically associated with worse symptoms and in any case does not spread to the whole brain like she's suggesting.

I wasn't joking. This is from his actual website. He can "detect patterns of genetic disease" just from your description and testing is only done "if necessary." Katie was told she had some variant that basically only happens in males and kills very young. Katie initially tried to tell normal doctors she had this but got laughed at so now she claims they're not sure what variant she has. She's also claiming LADA/MODY which is latent autoimmune diabetes in adults/mature onset diabetes of the young also known as Type 1.5. It's basically Type 1 that doesn't fully manifest until late teen/early adult years. They're slightly different diagnoses but she's claiming they're interchangeable. The more likely answer is she has type 2 or is somehow fucking with the testing, since we know she's creative when it comes to inducing medical problems.
If anyone else was following the Chandler Halderson case, his brother had LADA. That's why it was such a shock and why his family reacted the way they did. He was fine, healthy, and active for most of his life, then suddenly he went to the doctor for new weird symptoms and they found his blood sugar was sky high. That's why his mother was so upset and spent all her time doting on him, because it was a brand new diagnosis of a dangerous illness he'd have for the rest of his life and had he not gone to the doctor when he did, he could have died.

TL;dr: he was a pathological liar who convinced his parents he was in college online and working a high-paying WFH job when really he was waking up every morning and playing video games all day, making his headset chatter sound like zoom meetings while his friends played along. When his parents became suspicious about why he never had money he lied about payroll issues then said he was tired of their shit and had applied and been hired for a position at Space X and had to move to Florida. That lie started to fall apart because he had no money to actually move to Florida. Around this time his brother was hospitalized and diagnosed with LADA which made his mother distraught and spent her time fussing over him. A few days later Chandler had a fall down the stairs and went to the ER to be checked out for a concussion, which he learned through internet research was a diagnosis that relies on people honestly reporting their symptoms. After whining at the ER doc who said it was probably nothing, he got a neck brace and was told to wear it "as needed." He started telling people he needed to wear it at all times, that he was losing sensation in his legs, that he had cognitive and vision deficits from the fall, that soon he would need a colostomy bag, that he'd need brain surgery, and that all of this would continue to worsen until he was completely disabled and that SpaceX had decided not to onboard him due to the cognitive issues. His mother, still reeling from her other son's illness, fell into the same caretaker role and was waiting on Chandler. His father decided to impersonate his son on the phone to try to get his college transcripts in order and demand the back pay from his last job, through which all the lies were uncovered: he was never employed and the college hadn't had record of him attending in two years. The next day he murdered his parents, burned their remains in the fireplace, and said they'd just gone up to their vacation cabin with another couple and disappeared. Detecives, judge, and jury were not convinced by his lies and he was sentenced to life in prison without chance of parole.
I'm not much of a true crime person but I do tend to get sucked into the ones with some munchie overlap.

Other than that, on insta she's mostly silent except screaming about fake service dogs from time to time.

The massive fat immediately reminded me of that 600 LB life video of that fat lady who ran to an ER saying she was losing weight and starving so a doctor tubed her. In reality, she had bypass and was doing just fine. Insane what these doctors do and approve to some of these people I can’t help but wonder what goes through their heads. The other katie is such a fun little fail train to fall into. Wonderful execution yet again for the KFS. Bravo. Bravfuckingo.
