Real time strategyWhat genres do you think are under used when it comes to adult games?
Usually I see visual novels (dating sims) and action platformers, and I sometimes see RPGs and stealth games.
I would've thought tactical games would have been a good fit. All it would take is pushing the relationship systems to the logical conclusion. I know of only one and I've never played it.

Which resulted in a slapfight when a guy decided to respond to it after two months.

I think I mentioned it before, but I'll just remind you that I made Steve butthurt when I expressed concerns about going to Kickstarter. Of course despite Steve's "neutral stance," he rallied behind a far leftie that barely supported the game to make himself feel good despite his. This doesn't come as a surprise. I don't get how you make over 100k a year, and still can't release this fucking game. This is DSP-tier levels of pathetic. I'm so happy his Kikestarter failed miserably.these niggers clearly are in the developer's discord, probably NTR fans too to get so butthurt at the way the main dude pointed out as to how the developer is cucking them.
100.000.000 a month can hire a fuckton of pajeetis and not even make a dent to the total savings so you can pump out alot of content.
still, damn, dude assfucked them really hard though.

Yes. Rance.I've always wondered if there's a good intersection of "adult" content and "good" games
I went into my thoughts on this earlier in the thread. Quick recap. AAA, middle market, and basically anyone with a reputation won't touch adult content for fear of being cancelled, smeared, etc. That leaves indie devs outside the mainstream, and protected hacks who have the right connections and politics to avoid cancellation.I've always wondered if there's a good intersection of "adult" content and "good" games.
"Adult" games usually feature lousy gameplay and other mechanics in favor of some art and/or fetish minigames, while "good" games are only brought down by obvious fetish content, like some furry inflationist buying his OC into the game.
There's also the fact that these games tend to lean toward the VN genre at least partly because they're focused on "one-handed" players. That said, I've seen some of the VN style games be very good for what they are.I went into my thoughts on this earlier in the thread. Quick recap. There's also a design problem where a lot of popular genres lean on rape or porn-as-failure-state mechanics.
The few that seem to escape this trend (like Subverse) seem to vanish or go to shit for unrelated reasons.
I mean, I played Didnapper II, which is fairly tame/mainstream in terms of fetishes without explicit content--no nudity for instance. And I was extremely bored...the "struggle" mechanic was frustrating, the music wasn't memorable, the story was boring, I disliked the fetish forced into every single thing, the "bad ending" art mostly wasn't good...and the game still retails for $20! A few games have used armour degradation for fanservice, but it's baffling it hasn't been done more. Yes, it's porn as a failure state, but it's better than adding rape to everything.finding an excuse for a segment of some woman to run around half-naked

This might seem a bit off topic, but there's a web comic a bunch of people recommended to me. Semi Auto Semla. It was sold to me as both a return to classic pulp adventure, and a heavy dose of fanservice. While not my fetish, I do like some good pulp adventure. But whenever I checked on it, it would just be some bearded guy talking about nothing or doing anime slapstick.Given a choice I'd rather take a game that knows what it's doing but makes sense storywise
So, I take it that running an shell company is out of the question?I went into my thoughts on this earlier in the thread. Quick recap. That's nothing. There was actually a version where she takes her clothes off released only in Japan called "Miss Peach World"*.Menace Beach (an awful unlicensed NES beat-em-up, though you've probably heard of it due to it being a punching bag for AVGN and others) had clothing degradation as a win state--the farther you got into the game, the more the chained-up girlfriend's clothes would rot off to reveal what she was wearing underneath.

Playboy mansion? Now that I think about it, I wonder how something like an RTS would work. Or a factory sim game, since those are getting popular now. Wonder if there's any Bullfrog-esque god games or Theme Hospital/Dungeon Keeper-like sim games. Those seems like they could work pretty easily.
Yeah, I was thinking more generally, but you're probably right when it comes to tactics games, since those let you have more character for the units and attachments and all. I can only imagine how somebody would feel if they played through an XCOM style game and not only had their best soldiers get wiped out, but they were their waifus, too. Brutal.
Actually, that's interesting. I've never worked in the games industry (nor do I ever want to) but do people really give a shit? I thought employers were looking for coding skill and ability to work in a team...Playboy mansion?
Could work for a Darkest Dungeon style game, except instead of permadeath you get parasites or dunno.
The problem is no dsv ever wants to develop erogames because they stain their portofolio for ever.
I *think* 3D custom maid does this? All I want for an adult game is something where I can customize the characters to my dick's content, queue up a series of animations, then pan and orbit around using wasd+qe while they do their thing.
