They're letting Ukraine apply to be in the EU faster, nobody said anything about them actually getting in. It's just another PR carrot for the uninformed masses. As someone on Twitter pointed out Turkey has been at this same "accession" stage for 30+ years.

Ukraine is not getting into the EU.
It just won’t happen. For multiple reasons.
1: The EU is an unwieldy bureaucratic mess at the best of times. You see how one country like Hungary can throw a wrench into the machinery for indefinite periods. Ya really think they want to make it even MORE unstable?
2: The EU has giant funds meant to make shitty European countries slightly less shitty. Back in the day it was Ireland, Greece and Portugal who got them. Now it’s Poland, Romania, etc.
(Basically anytime you see an EU plaque next to some bridge they’re building in Sniezckokurwajescie in Poland or some other opportunity desert, it’s these funds redistributing money from taxpayers in Germany and Denmark)
Now if you’re Poland, Romania or one of the other countries sucking the EU test… Do you REALLY want to share that money with some Ukrainian niggers?
3: Rich countries like Germany (well formerly rich, lol) and the Scandinavian, already had enough problems with millions of poor polacks etc. coming looking for jobs. Or Rumanian coming to pick pocket.
4: They don’t really need to. Kiev is already for sale for the highest bidder. Why give them membership in order to buy out Ukrainian factories and farmland, if you can do it by just bribing enough politicians in Kiev?
