In the incredibly limited defence of Alok, it was actually Lil Pooner Janani (the other half of DarkMatter) who wrote that.

This only got clarified after people had spread round the DarkMatter "kinky little girls" post, and Janani's a Literally Who now (whereas Alok is still being a gross weirdo gender clown on red carpets) so it's not surprising it gets overlooked.

It's not much of a defence, since he collaborated with Janani who decided to broadcast her opinions on girlhood being kinky - and after posting it around March 2016, "DarkMatter" reposted it when they started getting heat - but after that Alok did start distancing himself from her until they broke up at the end of the year and now refuse to acknowledge each other.

From a PR perspective it's irrelevant because Alok's still a weirdo that's thought of as the kinky little girls guy (and also is contentious in general - seems to have mellowed with age, but most of DarkMatter's schtick was very 2015 "White people SUCK" performances), so someone trying to maintain a squeaky clean family friendly image shouldn't keep hanging out with him.
