IIRC, the whole "female dog hormones kill your grass" thing is a myth.

Your grass dies from dog urine because the roots get oversaturated with nitrogen from the ammonia. It creates a paradoxical halo effect where the center of the spot dies but the surrounding periphery of the dead zone actually grows greener/thicker/longer from the extra fertilizer.

I think it's more about kids than spouses for Jimothy.
