Maybe it's because the people in charge of making the movie demand that big of a budget. They're worth 300 million, dontcha know. How dare you expect them to do the same work for 50 million.

$300 million and the movies still look like shit. Someone's gotta learn to draw the purse strings. I won't be surprised if the Snow White remake budget ends up ballooning past half a billion at this point. The disparity between budget and delivered quality make me wonder if there's some money laundering going on.

that aside, gisneyworld food is something that intrigues me
it ranges from looking amazing to looking like subpar fast food, but some creations are just baffling and are definitely made purely to be photographed and are bought to sate people's curiosity as to what a "blue sauce" could possibly taste like, except i imagine they tend to be disappointed since the color doesnt come from or add to any flavor, its just regular hotdog sauce dyed blue

I think the first time I was really disappointed at the food at WDW was when they quickly shoved shawarmas into the Morocco pavilion after that bit in Avengers, as there was a local shawarma joint that was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better so I was like "bruh" at The Mouse's flabby attempt
there was a long time where Disney was dragging Central Florida towards good food basically against their will, but once the dining program came in to play shit started going downhill
