This happens because conscript troops (or most troops really) operating in built up terrain where the enemy can come from almost anywhere and dress like civilians get extremely jumpy and don't want to die.

It sounds like.one guy got spooked and started shooting then everyone else did too
.

Absolutely awful but it happens. Arab counterterrorism teams used to be infamous for doing shit like that.
Thats entirely the thing to be honest.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: Only liberals expect war to be like a business. Efficient, perfect, zero mistakes. They don't have an understanding of what conditions are like on the ground, the grey of battle, battle fatigue and stress, etc.

As you stated as well, in Israel you have a ton of conscripted 18 year olds, who are watching their friends get blown up from drones, suicide bombers, snipers, and other irregular forces. Trigger happy isn't the word Id use to describe that, but its accurate enough. Imagine if, 4 months ago, you were happily scrolling through skibidi toilet memes and the next moment someone hands you a rifle and you're under fire from all directions. That's what we're dealing with here.

Know what would have prevented this situation? Not starting a war and forcing another nation to send in its conscript forces.

Its not a good thing, friendly fire- but this does happen and only morons use this as a "1+ up for my side".

How many friendly fire incidents do you think hamas has committed? Like bombing their own hospital and blaming Israel? Id warrant, quite a bit more- but we never report on it. Wars are bloody, messed up things, with lots of confusion.

The other key difference between forces is that Israel at least admits where it fucks up, and it is not killing civilians gleefully and then celebrating it on social media, or reveling in it in person. That alone gives them a considerable amount of grace when it comes to this.

Whats the difference between 18 year old tiktok addicts who were just conscripted and have been under fire for weeks at this point, killing people, where they will be reprimanded, vs jihadists screaming allahu ackbar as they rape 16 - 20 something year old women in the midst of a massacre where they're shooting people in the head?

Perspective, I guess. Neither is good, but you can see which generates more outrage to me.

New tunnel network discovered near Kerem Shalom crossing (Southern Gaza). They are estimated 4km long and are huge, big enough to fit a 4x4 down:

The IDF obtained video of Muhammad Sinwar driving his car down a section:

As well as footage Hamas took of the construction. The scale of the work they managed to do, with only a tent roof to hide it all, is mind-boggling. The Israeli failures here were massive:

Animation of the network:

IDF excavating the tunneling shield:

(Minor correction: It was found in the north of Gaza, near Erez, and I believe that the 4km figure is just the amount the IDF has explored so far.)

The photo of the giant tunnel looks so weird. I saw it too but it looks strange. And why Druse propaganda now? :-D

anyway, yes, the tunnel is very impressive. Consider how much money building such a tunnel costs, if they used the money for something else they would have had their tax-free Montecarlo heaven by the sea. A few casinos, a few resorts, rich Arabs, Chinese and Russians coming to spend money, foreign workers doing menial work, Aza would have been richer than anything. Palestinians would have free education, health services, everything.

But no, our beepol make tunnel, we make rocket we burn money.

Sad about the hostages getting shot, but three shirtless men carrying a big stick can be easily misinterpreted. Because an Arab suicide bomber or shooter can also raise his hands and say hostage in Hebrew.

I will disagree with the post with the situation analysis that said imagine it's like the Europeans and the Indians not getting the message that they lost. The Europeans came to America and conquered it. The Jews coming to Israel are coming back where they came from.

During history, the owners of the land changed often and just over 100 years ago it was part of the Ottoman Empire. Zionist Jews were coming and buying land from Arab or Turkish owners. In 1948 there was a plan for partition, the Arabs didn't accept it and they lost the war.

Also it's more complicated if you start mixing in religion. Because then you have "Israeli" and "Jewish" having very different meanings and within "Jewish" even more complicated divisions.

There are places in Jerusalem where you can't have an Israeli flag because it's Tzionut (Zionist) and where they shout "Nazi" at the Israeli army and police. The Yeshiva world is very different. For many of the religious, the Israeli state is almost an enemy because it pulls people away from the "good road". There are orthodox Jews, non-religious Jews, "reform" Jews, all kinds. Even "national religious".

It's not easy to explain. If you check Psalm 29, sung in every synagogue every Friday, you will see that they already had trouble with Syria and Lebanon thousands of years ago.

I can't understand the delusion that made the Palestinians choose Hamas and Hamas choose to attack Israel this way. What were they hoping for? Israel to say "wow, you are so powerful, we give up, invade everything"? or was it intended to happen with an attack from the North and from Syria? and it happened on Putin's birthday...

A conscript army is of course not so well-trained as a professional army, but in a country where everyone knows they will be in the army, being in the army is not such a shock. And they won't send untrained conscripts to do the difficult and dangerous tasks. If things haven't changed too much, the combat units are made up of people who wanted to be in them. Apparently, after the attack, the amount of women volunteering for combat units has increased 3x.

Anyway, it's not America and a bunch of Indians not getting the message that they lost. Until the 1840s, 1850s there were kingdoms, empires, there was no reason to say that Hungarians should have "Hungary", Italians "Italy", Germans "Germany" and so on. The idea that a people, a nation, should have their state is relatively new. The Jews started going back to their ancestral homeland and wanted to form their own country. Under English occupation it was called "Palestine". Under ancient Romans it was called "Judea".

So yk "free Palestine" sure, give it back to the Jews. The Jews were the only "people" as in "nation" in the area who can state, today, they were linked to those who were there at Roman times.

I've asked this a few times this thread and I guess I will ask it again, in your neck of the woods, IRL what are people's opinion of the conflict? Are they pro-Israel? Anti-Israel? Pro-Palestinian? Pro-Hamas? Somewhere in the middle?

Mostly somewhere in the middle, but I've had one person compare Israel to old South Africa.
I had a black south African go after a women who said Israel was doing apartheid. The guy was yelling about how "you don't know what it's like you never lived through it". It was actually quite funny you could see her brain short circuit.

Doctor who treat the hostages that are freed say that there are proof about sexual assault and more.
snippet (Pessach is the doctor):
He also believes that television pictures of the freed hostages that suggested they had not been physically abused were misleading. "I think it was very deceptive," said Pessach. "There's not a single person that came back that didn't have a significant physical injury or a medical problem. On top of that, some of them were getting medication, to look better than they actually were."

There were also stories of hostages being branded (a common practice inflicted on Jews and other prisoners of Nazi concentration camps during the Holocaust), and of being sexually abused. "Yes, we did see signs of branding," Pessach said. "We definitely saw signs of being handcuffed. We did hear and see evidence of sexual abuse in a significant part of the people we have treated. We also heard evidence – and that was one of the hardest parts – of abuse against those that [are still there], both physical and sexual."

Naturally given her skin color. Black privilege once again. It doesn't just get you softball'd by the media and DA when committing crimes or diversity jobs.

Crap. That was a major heart attack. I mean some people have minor ones without ever knowing. He went from ranting to can't even stay standing in about 15-20 seconds. Survive?

The progressive selective abuse of terms continues. I really wish more people truly understood just how sinister that crap is.

Incredible helmet cam footage of a lone Yahalom reservist killing two terrorists at point blank range in Shujayya. He exchanges fire with the first and eliminates him, is wounded by a grenade thrown by the second, and then advances into the next room where he kills him as well:

AP, quoting an American official, says that the Houthis fired two missiles at a merchant vessel, which missed. A US warship also shot down a Houthi drone.

Update to this - a few Houthis attempted to board the ship but fled when the security team fired on them:

Shit.. These retards are going to drag the world into a more direct conflict there at this rate. Just to shut these tards down.

Smart move. If only the rest of the world followed. It is basically an international funded terrorist organization.

It doesn't sound like allah agreed very much.

Lying around on the sidewalk is kind of lame tbh. It would've been cooler if they lit themselves on fire like that woman in Atlanta a few weeks ago.

Feels. Feel bad seeing a young dad lose his life. :(

Those retards need to calm down before someone gets involved in their little conflict that doesn't pay 3rd world mercs to do their fighting.

lol What does google have to do with this again? Morons. leftist retards screeching at shadows.

This video of an Oketz unit canine detecting a bomb has been making the rounds in Arabic social media, because the name of the dog is Aisha, as in, Prophet Muhammad's 6 year old wife.

Ok that is just fucked up in multiple different ways!

Just incase no one posted this yet. The fag who film a gay porno on the Washington DC capital was a queer for Palestine supporter.

Once again.. The type of people you get from diversity hiring and the type of people demorats willingly and insist be put in places of power and prestiege!

Ouch! Who thought it was a good idea to stand up there to begin with? I mean a lot of people don't understand that a big enough gun will kill you with just the firing charge (on an old WW2 era BS, even being on deck when one of it's guns fired could be lethal) but standing high up in a war zone next to an active weapon is just asking to get shot or something.

The fact that people keep having to say and prove/justify these things to the world is one of the most insane parts of all of this!

I've asked this a few times this thread and I guess I will ask it again, in your neck of the woods, IRL what are people's opinion of the conflict? Are they pro-Israel? Anti-Israel? Pro-Palestinian? Pro-Hamas? Somewhere in the middle?
Aside from Jews and retarded leftists, I have noticed that most people off the internet don't really care. They are dealing with their 9-5 jobs and their families, they do not care about what's happening on the other side of the world, and the annoying protests clogging up the streets don't garner sympathy from the average American.

That being said, I live in an area full of both Jews and leftists so the opinion is pretty split. Oh, also the Jewish leftists I know have chosen to side with the terrorists. Keeping with the theme of metaphorical Palestinian suicide bombing I guess.
