Total Retard War: Lessons of War - Taking the tactics of Honeycomb.io's Field CTO Liz Fong-Jones and making them available to everyone.

To be frank, I don't know how much effect that would have. It's jew on white.
well that's the point. we've no idea if anything will have any effect until it's tried amigo :)
at the very least it'll remind them of their esteemed colleagues past transgressions

They are clueless. Its hosted on Hetzner, one abuse report and they are gone.

i just wanna point out quickly that reaching out to hetzner won't accomplish anything. they'll change hosts.
instead you should be bypassing the provider like the trannies do and complaining directly to cogent

I didn't read the thread, so trashcan me if someone said this already.

If we don't want state control of the pipes as a public utility, if we'd rather no one could determine what can and can't be said or transmitted, how does this not end with everyone using Tor or some future means of decentralizing and dismantling these technological choke points as a best-case outcome? If censorship is a treadmill of new offense and justification from the left or right, and if we blessedly avoid fragmentation of the Internet, that's the outcome.

I've been on Tor since getting on here became a problem and I'm fucking retarded. It took no know-how or effort, just some patience.

We probably don't want to pull other sites into this, but on the other hand there are an awful lot of loli and monkey-torture sites that seem to be staying up just fine while we're struggling.
That seems awful unfair.
I think we NEED to pull other sites into this. It is their problem. Not right now. But in ten years when Cognet has killed us off? They're next. Just because they were half as edgy as us. We must show them that, even if it involves creating a stink. We need allies in this war

josh has complained about how fewer people use tor but it's time to lead the charge. this isn't going to stop. that goes for DNS too. there are browsers that can do alternative DNS out of the box now and it should really catch on.

I'm simply saying I don't think it's wise and might infact backfire- "are you a anti semite???" *gets blocked*

Its no different than complaning to Cogent, both ways it will be removed.
Complaining to Hetzner will be faster and more effective. Since its illegal in Germany, they may forward billing information to authorities.

If they change hosts, it can be done once again. If they go to some "bulletproof" provider, then Cogent will do the trick.

Cogent has proven they are willing to enforce their AUP on any content anywhere on the Internet, including content that is not directly on their network. If you believe that there is content hosted online at any place that violates Cogent's AUP, they are willing and able to help you remove that content.

If you believe there is content violating the AUP of Cogent, you may report it at this address:
abuse@cogentco.com
You realize malicious compliance only works if the rule enforcer actually cares about double standards, which I'm guessing Cogent doesn't. This situation blows but I don't understand how this will help us.

You are right in that tor usage should catch on more, it's really not that hard. The issue is more about a completely US legal site being censored and blocked off from access for the apparent crime of stating things a small group of people with far too much influence happen to dislike.

Going the lawfare route seems like the final option at this point. The final solution, you might even say. :tomgirl:

Null should wear a cowboy hat and a t-shirt that says "FED" then go to the Cogent headquarters or call Dave Schaeffer's office.

And demand that he go to the supermarket to see what are their selections of cheese and when Schaeffer answers with they only have a few options then Null would tell him that's how he feels regarding ISPs.

"BISH, I BET YEW WON'T BLOCK THIS CONTENT!"

Run your own DNS server and resolve Kiwifarms yourself. Or use one of the currently available DNS alternative root servers with custom TLDs. This wouldn't fix the current Cogent issue but it would allow full speed clearnet-like access to the site. Become your own ICANN and cum in the bowels of Cogent. Perhaps we can even whip together a browser extension to resolve the custom DNS server over HTTPS.

You can't? ICANN.
