Regarding Americans as a whole, there’s a difference between conquest and economic migration. But as it applies to my ancestors, yes the ones who immigrated here did a shameful act. They were religious fanatics from Germany and northern Italy who should have stayed put.

As an American, I think twice before mocking other countries these days. I grew up near a major city and have traveled to third world shitholes. I hate to break it to you but the difference between Camden, NJ and a place like Cairo is negligible at best.

I'm from the third world and wouldn't move to (most of) the US if you paid me to.
Maybe I'd move somewhere like Vermont with comfy secluded communities that are still European, although considering white basically equals progressive, I would likely have issues there too. And I want a warm climate.
I literally couldn't care less if I'd get to buy a Ferrari and huge house. I simply prefer to be here.
