Has anyone else noticed bossman's been talking weird lately, more often than normal I should say. In this clip for example at 00:17-00:20, when he says "table closed" it's like he's talking with the back of his mouth full of spit. Has he been ramping up the crack usage lately or is the years of drug abuse just finally catching up to him?

Mines I think has the addictiveness of the similar Windows game Minesweeper, which makes it appealing to those of low intelligence. However its dumbed down on Stake, with no numbers (giving hints of nearby mines) and the possibility of finding a mine on first click (Minesweeper never has a mine as its first click). Its likely done so to maximize the amount of losses by making the game dramatically more difficult/

Mines on Stake gives the illusion of "control" as it has clickable tiles which are shuffled before the game begins (while Keno is effectively a lower stakes version of a number-matching Lottery). It also has the (not quite) double-or-nothing thrill with every click past the third. In reality the win rate is nearly the same (very low), with Bossmanjack losing far more than he wins.

I find keno and mines to be equal watching enjoyment for different reasons. Keno is great because he's basically just throwing his money into the void. Limbo is great for adding the false sense of choice (so when he goes for 10x and gets 500 he thinks it's "hot"), while mines adds a more real sense of choice since he could just cash out at 1 mine each time. I've seen some discussion of whether or not the mines are pre generated board or if they are generated when you click but I don't think it matters either way as in both cases the key factor is still how many mines you go for VS how many total mines there are.
