Oh I saw that one...but (at least if I didn't miss any posts between now and then) disenfranchised with her to "everybody is sick of her" was quite the change. Def can see how that post was the tipping point to starting to dislike her. I was just expecting more posts showing the movement from disenchised to now. Minor nitpick, but am glad you wised up.

The Dems and their proggies lapdogs are rabid at the very mention of Trump but my question is how will the Left hold together once the evil boogeyman of Trump has passed. This strawman they've created to unify the Left Wing so that it obeys the Neo-Lib masters is the thinnest of alliances and once Trump is gone, one way or the other, a slight breeze will split them into raging chunks of contrary factions.
They'll just find a new scapegoat. Same thing happened with Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Nixon, Truman, Eisenhower, etc.

Again, it's not really Trump they hate, it's us. Trump is simply a lightning rod. If you got a completely blank slate generic human out of a clone tank but they represented the interest of the common man instead of the pedo elites, they'd have crafted their own complete fictional narrative about him by the end of the week. "Clone 6672 is working for Russia!" "A source close to clone 6672 has informed us that he eats babies behind closed doors"

The Emperor in Star Wars was Democratically elected to help bring stability.

Joe Biden was too.

The Emperor then immediately webt after all his enemies and removed all the idiots that got him to power when his grip was absolute.

Where are the Wookies?

There’s no self executing portion.
Maybe self executing was the wrong phrase since people have been fucking with it recently. I mean once you're found guilty, the 14th automatically applies to you since you have in fact been proven guilty of insurrection. No need for a separate finding that it applies since it would be a redundant finding.

The problem is that people disagree with what the 14th is. I do not believe that the 14th's insurrection clause can ever ever apply, as written, to the President and the Vice President. Whether that is true should not be automatic, but instead resolved by the Courts, and ultimately the Supreme Court.

None of that matters if due process isn't followed and he isn't found guilty of violation of the insurrection and rebellion act, which no matter what people love to yell into the void on twitter, can't be found in a state civil case in the same way Texas can't enforce federal immigration statues.

This seems to be the root of everyone's disagreement:

They see the office of the president as *the most important one*, and why wouldn't they intend to bar an insurrectionist from holding the most important elected office, but bar them from others? People can't fathom why they would allow an insurrectionist into such a powerful position. But the president wasn't that powerful or important back then. The office hadn't been expanded with all of the powers it has today. It was merely a figurehead and rubber stamp. The power resided with the people in the house and congress. I also think that the president isn't as scrutinized because he's elected by the ENTIRE country, not just a district in bum fuck Mississippi, and overly restricting who can and can't be president would essentially restrict democracy. This is also the reason I could see the SC denying the disqualification. It would prompt states to start denying candidates based on whatever they can find instead of allowing everyone to run, effectively restricting democracy.
