Yes that was sus to me, and I noticed that she completely breezed over that eye doctor visit. Other than the eye drop part she didn't say a thing about how it went. Did she at least get a new lens prescription? After all, she hasn't been to the eye doctor in years and she's at an age when vision generally gets worse instead of better. And I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they found something beetus-related...if she did indeed go.

I asked someone I know that did the diabetic retinopathy screening and at least in here (UK), is free and accessible to anyone with diabetes, if you say you not driving they'll take your word and move on, the test also is exclusive to diabetic retinopathy and will not check anything else, if you need a prescription it's not their problem.
Also the result (UK), will take around 3 weeks and be mailed to you and your Gp. (Family doctor).
GUNT is dumb and probably thought was a "free", complete, eye test with a lollipop in the end if she behaved.
Another reason she probably lied about driving as if you need prescription it's supposed to be stated in your driving licence.

Not to defend her, but in Canada you have to go get your name changed after/at marriage if you want it to be official. It doesn't automatically happen. And even if she WAS married, it wasn't in Canada.

This is used for 3 reasons, but only one is relevant. To replace water and electrolytes in those with low blood volume or low blood pressure. So lets look at the third reason to administer Ringer's lactate as opposed to Saline solution (Which is typically whats in an IV bag).

It is also used as an alkalinizing agent, which increases the pH level of the body in those with Diabetic Keto Acidosis.
If you forgot, acids are a low number (1-7) 7 is PH neutral, and bases are a high number (7-14). You need to RAISE ph to make something less acidic. so having a "low ph" is BAD.

The worst person you know will always outlive everyone else.

A guy in my state got away with molesting 3 generations of children in his family. His kids, their kids and their kids after that. Didn’t even get caught until he was 78. Sentenced to what essentially adds up to life for someone that age. He’s something like 83 or 84 now and still going strong.

On the other hand, a local surgeon who went to third world counties and saved the eyesight of thousands of babies for free just died of an aggressive cancer at only 52. He didn’t even charge elderly people for checkups.
