That's only eight books, two unpublished. A "short story" isn't a book... I don't think? It might just a semantic thing.

Anyway, I'd love to hear from anyone here whose read any of these to talk about them. We talk so much about Patrick and yet so little about his works. From what little I've seen and heard about them, they seem to range from "pretty bad" to "nothing special." But it'd be unfair for me to judge, since I've seen so little.

It's a novella, so he probably counts it as a book. He wrote another novella in the same universe too, The Sword From The Sky. Pat doesn't seem to write short stories, he wants to be a real writer who writes novels. (he has one, which he was probably paid to write upfront or it was part of his Abysswalker contract)

I did get the wererat book from a humble donator, I just put it down after three chapters. I'll probably do a one post write up if I can force myself through the rest.
