Oh, should've known.
you’re wright on the money, Phil‘s Elon Vids are unwatchable on their own. The only way I can get through them is to have them on in the back ground as I do something else.new video released, i always like seeing what Elon is up to, but this guy makes his videos impossible to watch
i tried to watch it, but there is such an incredible amount of meme cuts that i cant do it, did he get put on meth or something?
i made it 5 minutes in, every 10-20 seconds he cuts to a le heckin funny clip or meme, and many of them are repeated multiple times in a VERY short time frame
he always does this, but this time it was just WAY too much
I'm sure Putin was devastated by this. Imagine being the king of Russia, sending wave after wave of men to their deaths in a horrific grind of a war, and then, out of nowhere, some dumpy British queer paints his nails and posts his weird disgusting British face on Twitter, owning you completely.
I dislike Musk as much as the average reddit Urbanism sperg and his points are mostly accurate. The issue is, Musk actually did deliver a product, overpriced and shoddily assembled, but his company does have a significant share in the EV industry. Like it or not, I don't.wow, for once, he actually brings us some news, rather than going over a tiny new detail, and the meme cuts are few and far between
it seems as if there have been a number of updates, and i can actually recommend this video
unlike his other recent videos, this video goes over a whole bunch of new incidents and details that are quite significant to Tesla including recent legal shit and court rulings etc
he also does his usual thing of comparing what he promised VS what he has delivered
Pretty much, and while Musk has made many claims that come close to fraud, he always delivered something, even if that something was a pale shadow of what was promised. A great example is the Hyper Loop which ended up just being a tunnel with some Tesla's instead of vacuum tube super train. Or something like the solar shingles, as long as he throws some solar panels on the person's roof he can still make some kind of product delivery, and he probably has the ability to refund anyone who does put up enough of a stink.I dislike Musk as much as the average reddit Urbanism sperg and his points are mostly accurate. The other three mentioned.
Elizabeth Holmes: scammer, she knew the thing won't work and scientifically it won't. I won't go into detail, basically a needle drop of blood is insufficient to run tests.
Trevor whatever: scammer, never had a product.
Bankman Fried: had a product but he was meddling with company funds to juice up his wealth.
Musk is a vapourware merchant but he offers functional products that works well enough. He won't go to jail. He won't go broke.
Hyper Loop is the closest he's come to doing something straight-up fraudulent, but even then he made such a substantial outlay on tunneling machines its clear an attempt was made. He should have just dumped the vacuum chamber part way earlier and cited preposterous safety challenges for questionable efficiency gains.A great example is the Hyper Loop which ended up just being a tunnel with some Tesla's instead of vacuum tube super train
I stopped watching tfoot when he began releasing 5 videos sperging about Musk in a row. I'm completely indifferent towards Musk and appreciate his occasional lolcow antics, meanwhile Phil keeps making the same fucking video over and over, offering 3 minutes of new content and 30 minutes of rehashed shit each time and I'm just not watching any more of that. I wish he'd post some scientific shit for a change. I unsubbed today. Those Musk videos are starting to meld into my mind, i can't say what is new information anymore, it's getting unbearable. He discovers some small tidbit of information that can be explained in 30 seconds and does a 20 minute video copy pasting, rehashing, telling the same jokes and repeating the same information while smugly chuckling to himself constantly, and the chuckling smugly doesn't stop, it goes for what feels like hours, and he repeat the same points 3 times in 5 minutes over and over again. I don't know where one video begins or ends anymore, i just remember there's a little tune that plays at the end that indicates that i am free.
Phil is ungodly smart, when he is explaining scientific concepts he is in another level. But when he finds his lowcow he can be unbearable, if he was a kiwi he would be the king of guy that just repeats the same thing every page then quotes himself.
Maybe the smugly chucking is like a party trick, he shoves his head so far up his ass that when he speaks it sounds like a british person telling jokes to himself and laughing at how funny he is.
He even made test vacuum chambers and had competitions where people tested their skids inside one of those chambers. So there was an effort made and he did deliver something, where I'd say there's a bigger chance of fraud is the Tesla bot as they showed footage that was either from a different trial than the video with the bot in it, or was just fake. That or his Tesla roof tiles, as he claimed there was a house outfitted with them and then it turned out there were no solar tiles on that house. In those cases he made a claim of a product existing that didn't, whereas with the Hyper Loop he simply said he'd try to make one but it failed and he simply created some tunnels to compensate.Hyper Loop is the closest he's come to doing something straight-up fraudulent, but even then he made such a substantial outlay on tunneling machines its clear an attempt was made. He should have just dumped the vacuum chamber part way earlier and cited preposterous safety challenges for questionable efficiency gains.
That's the real issue, IMO. Even if you were able to make one that thing would be a death trap.
Was that an actual vacuum chamber? I remember these competitions and iirc it was just an open ended tunnel. He even made test vacuum chambers and had competitions where people tested their skids inside one of those chambers.
I think it was both, not in the actually dug tunnel but there was some competition where they did actually try to vacuum the chamber but they probably didn't make a vacuum and just pulled a good chunk of air out.Was that an actual vacuum chamber? I remember these competitions and iirc it was just an open ended tunnel.
I suppose they used pressurised chambers. Was that an actual vacuum chamber? I remember these competitions and iirc it was just an open ended tunnel.
