If God is real... - If an omniscient omnipotent benevolent God exists, why does he allow suffering?

I was always puzzled why the idea of an all good deity came after Polytheism.

It was a problem that created itself. Nobody asked this of Zeus because Zeus was very obviously a capricious dickhead and there was always the excuse that someone else's meanie God did whatever the bad thing was instead of yours.
I bet it's Zoroastrian influence. They held the belief of an all good deity in Ahura Mazda. It's also Jesus's fault. In Judaism, god is an unknowable thing more akin to something out of lovecraft than a cool old guy in the sky, whose motives can't be fathomed and whose form can only be inferred due to the existence of humanity. Christianity made god human, thereby making it more difficult to explain away god's more esoteric behavior such as pulling some cult initiation shit on Abraham and siccing bears on a bunch of stupid kids for making fun of a bald guy.

If God is omniscient, that was all according to his plan. He planned suffering to start existing.

taking the Bible as canon, God is all-powerful and all-benevolent and is therefore the best thing in the universe, and everything God creates exists to worship him actively or passively. humans were created to generate a population of worshippers who willingly choose to hang out in his treehouse while everyone else gets thrown in the garbage or whatever. the suffering is what makes it meaningful. also since God is all-knowing and all-benevolent, this universe is the best possible one he could have created, your whinging is pointless because God knows better than you. owned.

it came before. literally the beginning of time.

the evil entity thing came AFTER lucifer and his crew came to earth and started blackmailing, raping, killing humans, etc

Zeus is actually most likely Baraqel, a demon/cohort of lucifer.

why does him being omniscient mean it was his plan. seeing the future doesnt mean you planned the future

god gave adam and eve choices, and all the information required to make those choices. while god could see the outcomes of their choices, he did not plan their choices

the bible, like all of it, is the exact opposite of this lol

if you do not want to be in "gods treehouse" that's fine. god doesnt require you to worship him at all.

god simply presents the choices and outcomes available to those choices. the choice is always yours, not god's, he didnt force your hand
