Target autists and people with sadbrains, recruit them to the cause, now the target individual has hundreds/thousands of people who instantly want to be their friend and they can unite together over troonism, convert them over time, get them to target more people, and the cycle just repeats.
It's also the reason you see more tranny flags and things in tranny flag colors these days. They want it shoved into peoples faces even more than gay pride flags because the moment someone even reacts to it funny, they have their personal army of troons and troon allies to dogpile them and make their life miserable, thus making them an even easier target for joining the cult.
It happens in nerd hobbies, it happens with irrelevant youtube content creators(a bunch of which were already weirdos in it just to get at kids), and so on. Why do you think the video game speedrunning community has so many trannies in it just in the last 5 years? Or the magic the gathering community watch thread pointing out how it's seemingly riddled with the damn things. If you were to use one of those groups as a survey of the planet's population you'd think that 1/4 of the planet were trannies, it isn't, but then they convince themselves that it must be the case because they surround themselves with them.
