I'll be real honest with all the Starfield pronoun shit after seeing the context and everything,

because he destroyed any possibility of having a conversation on why pronoun shit is retarded with normies,

I didn't pay for Starfield (because fuck that) and I modded the fuck out of it to remove as much of the pozload that's baked into the game, but one thing I didn't bother changing was the pronoun stuff because, like people pointed out in response to this spergout, it literally has no effect on the game beyond the character creation menu. You just create your character, assign them at birth and then you're finished.

Sure, it's pointless, but it always has been. It's strange to me that I've never heard anybody raise the question as to why troons care how people refer to them when they're not being directly spoken to.

Ok so how are the wokies ruining games today? Back in the gamergate era it was mafia style pressure on the games companies to hire diversity consultants and shit like that to churn out cringe ass dialogue about trannies etc. but is that still happening? The last few games I played were Elden Ring, BG3 and Cyberpunk and except for possibly dong selectors none of those HUGE games had any woke elements that I could tell.

A lot of it these days is targeted at Japanese dev via translation studios/divisions. Nintendo Treehouse being the most well known for ruining games by re-writing the stories to be about social justice and outdated memes.

I used to occasionally get hits for them Googling stuff. There was a point they hadn't gone completely insane and occasionally actually reviewed shit using criteria other than how brave and beautiful and queer it was.

I guess this is culture wars. Got into it at work with the boss and may lose my job.

I banned all Roblox content servers from our company networks; this is because I see children playing this shit on our computers all the time (with Discord running, usually) and was getting sick of it. Boss asked me about it today and I told her what I did. She asked me to undo it and I refused. Got written up. (lol oh no!)

I told her I would not undo the change, explained what Roblox is and that if she wanted it changed, she or one of the other tech managers could figure it out.

Sick of this bullshit.

I'd ban Discord, too, but it gets a lot of use by employees and customers. Probably can't get away with that one.
