OneyPlays - have a boy... with friends

I like Ding Dong a lot, but he needs to just follow the Chris route and just ignore any drama and refuse to talk about it.
it's pretty tragic that "be more like chris" is actually good advice, but in this context i agree. i've quit watching dang dang's streams because the pathological repetition and stagnancy get me mati and i have better things to do with my time. "so, we have another game that's basically done... i just don't want any further drama regarding these niche e-celebs hurting each others' feelings 15 years ago... it was pretty bad, guys... this is the last time i'll address this..." rinse and repeat 500x for 10 hours 3x a week

Every last retard complaining about Starfield still fucking bought it, and will buy its DLC, and will buy Starfield 2 and Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 and whatever else the company shits out in that same, worthless, godawful engine. Despite the fact that it has been the same game, the same writing, the same features, and the same garbage for close to two decades at this point.
This is wholly unrelated to Oneyplays but my god Gamers are some of the most mindless braindead consumers of all time. I have friends who knew Starfield was going to be mid and paid 60 dollars for it and guess what their reaction was? They thought it was boring. Guess what they will do when Bethesda releases another mediocre game like it? They will without question buy it again. Aren't nerds supposed to be smart?

Nerds are, geeks can be

It's because consoomers are hellbent on looking at the name of a brand in big, bright, bold, shiny, neon, all-caps letters and call said brand an equivalent of a fancy 5-star steak restaurant.

Only when it comes to using intelligence for their desired competence field, for everything else they are the biggest retards out there, specially when something tickles their tism. Basically, the usual "being intelligent does not mean you are wise, or have any street smarts, it just means you are very good with logic puzzles".

That's why I try to tell my friends and colleagues that companies don't make games, people do. And almost all the people that made these great games that you enjoyed so much in the past don't work at these companies anymore.

And don't forget that most people jumped to other companies, have moved on to other smaller companies, have given up their passion and moved to a different career path or have long since retired. Most of which were royally buttfucked by larger existential real-life issues that may have crippled these individual employees such as either the late-2000s/early-2010s recession or the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hell, even more depressing, some of them are trapped in some sort of development hell unable to get anything out. Treasure I don't think is officially dead but it sure does seem like it, Amy Hennig has been bouncing around for years after getting ousted out of Naughty Dog by king kike and her only known recent credit was in Forspoken, where I can only assume her ideas were absolutely butchered and Yasumi Matsuno hasn't produced anything of value since he left FFXII in the middle of it outside of working on some FFXIV expansions.

For every Tetsuya Takahashi that managed to come back after leaving a big company to do his own thing, so many more fail miserably.

i need help. i either need a clip or a link to when they're chanting "im a little boy and i wont get punished" over and over
