I don’t think that would be enough for him. Nick is one of those guys who digs his heels in so hard that the only thing that MIGHT (MAYBE) trigger change is killing or maiming one of his kids or parents while drunk. At the time it was mocking the blame Mignogna’s opponents were placing at Nick for jeopardizing the case by merely talking about it. This was a reasonable response based on how Nick was at the time, and the fact that Ty hadn’t had the opportunity to torpedo his own case at that point.

Having made my account around this time, I remember pretty specifically that the KickVic and pro-Vic were engaging in a pretty goofy back-and-forth where each side preemptively declared victory after each new filing or development, particularly during the time of the depositions, where frankly no side came out looking particularly good (Ron of course coming off the worst). At the time, Ty seemed to want to cash in on the free publicity Nick brought him and made several merch items advertising his firm or referencing Weeb Wars memes.

As a result, Nick and Ty made shirts to clown on the idea that Ty had lost the case as a smug ironic joke which turned into an ironic reality once Ty actually lost the case.

Reality seems to contort at times to specifically punish Nick's hubris.

It's hard to fathom at times how it came to this. Nick went from a fairly respected individual on this forum, even to the point I think a majority of the site's users had a positive or at least neutral opinion of him, to an alcoholic degenerate ruining his marriage, career, and life in general by constantly making decisions and exhibiting lolcow behavior that he himself had ridiculed just weeks prior.

I voted for Pat too. While I think the highs with Pat were miles higher that anything rekeita content can provide. We can't ignore the tried and true fall from grace arc. It's always most people's favorite.
