What "legal liability"? They signed contracts, they know what the show is about. Tay was uncomfortable sure, but in a court of law they could easily re-assure, during any legal process, that she was in no direct harm since even if he was to do anything, they would quickly intervene. As for muh "psychological trauma" I'm pretty sure they sign a "we won't sue even if we get fuckin' spooked".
There is a record of crazy shit happening in season 1 that didn't have any legal consequences, or fear of legal consequence (just some backlash). They had a completely butt ass naked Chris walking around women (one which he showed interest, threatened physical violence against, and subsequent bitterness towards) and that was seemingly fine without any major issues.
I have a memory of someone saying that the contract for s1 was leaked, though I couldn't find any record of that so maybe I'm confusing it with something else, but they clearly have a good ass legal agreement.
Most likely, if anything happened, was that if SAM was to PHONE JET, he would have most likely been upset (if anything) because it was going on a bit too hard on Tay. If they want to keep her on the show, which it seems that they have at least an interest to keep her going, this could endanger that if they didn't cut it off.
She hasn't been fucked with too much, as well as Sam liking tweets cringing at Tay's edgy racism bits i think Sam put them up to it with Charleston fucking with Tay, it could be that both points are true, though it seems unlikely. Why would Sam be that upset with Jet over something he clearly was thinking about.
Even in the event that Jimmy was kicked off because Sam was mad with Jet, that doesn't make sense either. Jimmy told Jet he wasn't going to be kicked off next. Jet doesn't really love Jimmy or anything, and it seems defiant and if Jet is really as much of a punk as everyone says he is, that would be probably enough for Jet to want Jimmy off the show.
Which didn't happen obviously, just a good ol' "prank" a little "bit" to dismiss him.
Sam and Jet both financially are invested in the show so any tit-for-tat that could happen would equally damage their prospects.
None of this reasoning makes sense, none of it. No consistency and it doesn't match up with what we know the team is already comfortable with doing in the past without issues.
To bring the point back to what i'm saying, is the "leak" is most likely absolute bullshit, how can you be "once removed" as an orbiter for the prod. team where you somehow get the "vibe" that there was a phone call, that you know what the phone call was about only to then immediately go onto pressing WHO(?) to cut ties with Jet?
This isn't a discord of the production team, this is a public-ish forum, the only person who stands to gain anything by encouraging anyone to cut ties is a way to tell the audience that Jet is a reckless piece of shit, a liability, which doesn't serve anyone close to the show, only the audience and public opinion. Probably a Tay Simp angry that their gurl got fucked with and wants to stir up the pot against him.
Any other explanation seems lackin imo; there are plenty of femcels and niggers in the audience that have been dragging the show since season 1's announcement. I do not have faith in "leaks" when it comes to this show anymore, too many boys who cried wolf, no actual real evidence for most of it.
