Inactive Gonzalo Lira / Coach Red Pill / expat229 - Scam Artist, Male Feminist Pretending to be Alt-Right, Possible Rapist?, Liar, Failed Economist

It's crazy to see Westerners simp for Lira.
I've been watching closely a lot of the media figures that do shows etc. on wars, and it's so strange to see people being rabidly anti-Zionist and shedding crocodile tears for Palestine, only to celebrate Ukraine being abandoned by the West and describing Lira as some hero journalist.
One of the funniest and saddest claims I keep hearing is "his rights and freedom of speech were broken", "Ukraine is not akshually democratic".
How fucking retarded can you be not know, in near-2024, that Europe does not have FoS? How retarded can you be to expect an invaded country tolerate parties that shill openly for the invader? Such disconnect is insane, there are people dying on the frontlines by the hundreds, and you expect that people should be allowed to say that "actually, it's great that they are killed, niggaz had it coming".
As for the Israel connection, that's even more comical. According to the UN, these are two countries occupied by an aggressor. So how the fuck can you shill for Russia, and then claim that what Israel is doing is bad and wrong? It's the same thing, you idiots.

Thirteen years wtf
i believe there was an honest mistake, mistranslation or something i think

From the longer document #2
Ліра ОСОБА_8 обвинувачується у вчиненні нетяжкого та тяжкого злочину, за які передбачено покарання у виді позбавлення волі на строк до п`яти років та позбавлення волі на строк від п`яти до восьми років.
Translate from DeepL:
Lyra PERSON_8 is accused of committing a minor and a serious crime, which is punishable by imprisonment for up to five years and imprisonment for a term of five to eight years.
So two charges. One minor FACING up to 5 years. One serious FACING 5 to 8 years.

Someone added those two together to come up with 13 years total because he or she assumed the sentences would be sequentially additive.

A comment on a recent "Facts Hunter" youtube video on this subject states that charges in the Ukraine are consecutive concurrent. So Gonzalo is facing 8 year maximum, not 13.

13:15 No, he won't end up with 13 years in prison; In Ukraine, the terms of serving a sentence are not summed up, but are absorbed, that is, if you are found guilty of two crimes, one of which provides for 5 years, and the other for 8 years, you will spend 8 years in prison, not 13

This is a question of knowing how Ukrainian law is applied. That said, we don't know who this commenter is and how accurate their assessment of how sentencing applies in Ukraine.

It was phrased this way

It was me that used the wrong word for a concurrent scenario.

>pneumonia

Coach Deadpill, lmao.
I wasn't surprised to learn he's in a medical ward. It might be from whatever heart problems he claimed to have combined with pretty much anything even a cold, or the coof. If it's RSV or pneumococcal pneumonia he may be a goner.

Dude should have known when to bounce.

I'm still not sure that guy is right. In the U.S., there are (very arcane and technical rules) for when it's consecutive and when it's concurrent. I'd be surprised if courts there have no ability to decide that (but maybe they do).

As a mundane example, if you commit insurance fraud on a single claim, every single fraudulent statement you make on any form is a separate count, but you're usually going to get a concurrent sentence even if it's 89 counts and they're all a year. If you have multiple victims, or the harm is in some different form on other counts, like you also committed arson, it's often consecutive for each separate victim or form of harm.

There are lots more rules where those came from.

Possibly Ukraine has this as a per-trial rule so if they held separate trials, your convictions in each trial could be consecutive. Japan does something like this. There are usually rules, at least in semi-civilized countries like Ukraine and the United States, for what courts are allowed to do and how they're allowed to do it.

It doesn't sound like CRP will survive a long sentence and they may not want him to die in their custody. It doesn't look good for them to be taking tens of billions of our money and then killing our citizens, even an asshole like CRP.

He should've bounced, but i think he'll get treatment.
I know it's fashionable to think he's getting tortured and his kneecaps getting blasted, but if he's sick there's like 90% chance he'll be getting the exact same treatment as other prisoners, maybe better cause he's an American citizen.
The few Ukrainians I spoke with are not hating him, they're more like disgusted and shocked that he can be this stupid to remain in the country and create enemy propaganda. I have a feeling they don't even want him locked up, just deported and banned forever from the country.

This is what sensible people would think, like about that Johnny Somali retard in Japan but in an actual warzone. They'd just want the clown removed.

This fucking idiot had chance after chance to leave Ukraine and spitshine Putin's cock anywhere else in the world, but he's so addicted to clout and attention that he decided to keep himself in an active warzone and actively antagonize the government of said active warzone in order to make himself some kind of propaganda martyr and attract enough attention to save his waning online popularity.

No doubt that even after he inevitably ends up getting deported and banned from the country, he'll claw his way back in and try to famewhore some more. He just might be the dumbest lolcow of the last two years if you ignore Keffals and Fong-Jones. Dumbest on a global scale at least.

nobody youre talking about knows who Coach Red Pill is. they did not order an advance copy of wilshere boulevard. Its become news because of how outrageous it is that an american citizen with an american passport can be held indefinetely in a foreign jail, for the crime of being retarded, and the American government (who traded an arms dealer for a basketball lesbian while a decorated veteran rots) will do absolutely nothing about it. It is amusing to see all this attention given to the retard that is Coach but ultimately the story isnt really about Coach.

He's not really being held "indefinitely" but until a trial, and since he announced his attempt to go fugitive on social media instead of just leaving, he's obviously a flight risk. It's pathetic we're just putting up with it, though. He should be released for humanitarian reasons alone if he's so sick he's in a medical ward. He's a harmless moron and did not help the Russians in any material way even if he wanted to.

It's really only a story because it's Coach as he's insanely retarded, but he also has a following who basically hold the same beliefs about 2nd/3rd world countries where they imagine their laws are beneath them.

Gonzo could have tried acting apologetic in order to appeal to the Ukrainian government, but he suffers from an overinflated ego so he imagines there is zero need to appeal to them as he figures the US government ought to be able to order Ukraine to ignore him. I feel like at this point if they did just toss Gonzo out it'd be almost like an admission that their laws are a big joke the way Gonzo and others have suggested. He and his supporters have practically forced Ukraine's hand to make them have to go through with a trial for him.

Which is what makes it all the funnier to me, that these people's arguments to try and get Gonzo off the hook just help damn him.

Their laws ARE beneath him, in the national myth of Americans. the American government of the 60s would have made damn sure that whatever dumb shit he said abroad was tried stateside. Stand up and take notice if youre American. That passport doesnt mean a goddamn thing anymore. You might as well be from Peru when it comes to your government having your back abroad.

Zelensky is a faggot who sucks black penises daily. The Ukrainian government is a low-rent piece of shit and Russias victory is inevitable. Fuck Ukraine. The fact that Gonzo is in jail for saying that, even in Ukraine, is an absolute disgrace to what America claims to mean.

Their laws are a joke, just not as big of a joke as your American passport. See in America once upon a time we had freedom of speech and a government that gave a fuck enough to uphold it. it used to be that an american mouthing off abroad would face american justice. Please observe that such a concept no longer exists in any way other than to placate weak minds.

You stole this argument from Gonzo's legal counsel didn't you?

I disagree. There is no one in Gaza to liberate. Donetsk and Luhansk had every justification to attempt to secede.
Israel and Palestine is much more akin to Kiev invading Donetsk/Luhansk following Euromaidan.
You have a region, that is outside the national identity, and that wants it's own self-determination.
They must be destroyed.

And that's not even getting into the fact that Israel enjoys the full support of the western global economy and it's menagerie of military alliances, while Russia supported Donetsk and Luhansk for a decade in the face of the entire geopolitical order.
When you actually sit down and think about it, it becomes apparent the situations are not at all similar.

Israel only becomes like Ukraine if the Arab countries decide to invade on behalf of the Palestinian Arabs.
But it still wouldn't be similar in the way that you are implying.
