Yeah, it was posted. I don’t think anyone went into great detail on it, because it was less amusing (and I use that term loosely) than the short stories anthology she published. I tried to read it when I had free e-books for 30 days or whatever and it’s boring as shit, could barely get through the first few pages. It’s just drivel.

Here's an interesting question in the wake of Peetie's passing.

Does Staph ever feel joy? Uncomplicated, simple happiness for something?

She adopted Peetie, tried to make a couple stupid catspeak blogs for him, posted his photo in a few places, then abandoned him when she moved out of her parents' house. Not that she did anything to take care of him anyway, and was more interested in hurting his feet. It seems like she got a cat because 1) it's something that Tumblry people do and 2) she was hoping for a lot of online attention via the catspeak blogs.

She doesn't seem particularly upset over his death and only used his illness as a weak-ass reason why her life is the worstestest evarr. She doesn't seem to have ever really bonded with him.

Plenty of people with cats, myself included, look at their cat and get a little spark of happiness just by observing a cute creature doing something cute. I've seen my cat sleep in cute positions a billion times, and I've seen her whole range of facial expressions, but it still makes me happy to see her because she's a silly little animal and I still point to her and tell my husband "look at her, so cute".

I don't think Staph feels that kind of simple joy. I honestly don't.

It's a spiral in the shape of a cat paw with a single star in the center. Friedensreich Hundertwasser believed spirals symbolized life, death, creation, inevitability, and infinity. Carl Sagan says we are all made of starstuff, and the conservation of mass states matter cannot be created or destroyed, merely changed. As Peetie's time on Earth comes to its natural end, he has been changed and has now discovered what lies beyond our understanding. He has returned to the starstuff we all come from, and while Stephanie probably doesn't care half as much as this forum inexplicably does, I pray she and her family will be comforted knowing Peetie is once again part of the universe, in the loving arms of God, where he will be for all eternity.

Staph is such a fascinating women, in the worst possible way.
I, like many other people in this thread, have a cat. I've had him a long time. If something happened to him and he was at the end of his life I would be spending time with him and not getting into twitter slapfights with children and people who hate me. I sure as shit wouldn't be hornyposting about the most mid looking men that have ever existed.

I don't think Ole Stephy even has the ability to feel empathy. Every single time something bad happens in her life she turns it into another showcase of herself. The only time she's seemed to show any genuine emotion is when something bad has happened to specifically her, like when she got scammed (multiple times, can't wait for the scammers to get her SSI payments).
