Enter put up a new journal. Generally just reminiscing about the year, but the interesting point is this list of 10 resolutions for 2024.
  1. CN Reel, a Cartoon Network equivalent of Nick-o-Rama for November and December 2024. Nearly all inhouse animated shows (no anime, Frenchime, or DC) that have ended. Meanwhile, Season 3 of NoR seems to be dead except...
  2. Doing videos on all the Nicktoons he was going to revisit, such as Rise of the TMNT and Loud House
  3. A massive ranking video of every animated theatrical Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks movie. Apparently this was the big project he's been hinting at all year
  4. Publishing Forgotten Nightmares
  5. Remaking some missing videos, namely the PSA one, Lights Out (the FOP video), and finally redoing Top 10 Advertising Campaigns
  6. Finishing High Guardian Spice. These'll pick back up in January
  7. Finishing the Boss Baby reviews (not too interested in these, since they're going to be comedy-focused)
  8. Putting out more videos on his other channels
  9. A documentary on Eddsworld. This has been something he's been mentioning covering since the beginning.
  10. Posting more on DeviantArt.
It should be interesting to see how many of these he accomplishes.

After seeing saber sparks going on a chinchilla rant about his review of the Daily Wire blue wire clone. I don’t think I see Mr Enter as a lulzcow anymore. At least not as big of a cow he use to be. The cartoon review community is just so much worse and more autistic than Mr enter. At this point, the cartoon review community only hated Mr Enter for his political views, not his cartoon reviews.

Honestly, I agree at this point. Enter's progress in the past year has really been impressive, and even his incidents in 2022 seem more like an odd episode with the context of him suffering from OCD and actually putting in the work to get better. At this point I consider him more of an internet eccentric than an actual cow, sort of like Ulillillia but way less autistic. Good job, Enter.

I feel like 2024 is probably gonna be a pivotal year for Enter's online reputation at large, depending on how the resolutions pan out. If he can release an actually good (and interesting) book, evolve his content, and garner attention from a new audience, I think it might be enough to change how the internet views him. It's a success story you don't see often.

I do find it pretty hilarious how Enter of all people has ultimately fostered one of the most wholesome and supportive threads on this site, seeing how people here talked about him a decade ago.

My predictions:
  1. If he's planning it for November, circumstances are gonna be a lot different by the time it's supposed to come out. The project is also somewhat ambitious even for a year's worth of prep, unless he goes with shorter format content. This probably won't happen.
  2. I think he'll probably follow through with these, or at least some of them.
  3. It'll come out eventually if it's as far along as he says. Whether he finishes it in 2024 is anyone's guess.
  4. I think this is pretty much a given at this point, if he already has a full draft completed.
  5. I doubt these will end up being priority for him, aside from maybe the PSAs video.
  6. He might make a couple more, but I don't think he'll finish the series. Views were already declining pretty sharply.
  7. Probably another given.
  8. He'll probably do this at the start of the year, but I imagine he'll drop it by the halfway mark.
  9. Yeah, sometime in 2024.
  10. He seems to already be trending back towards DA, so I doubt that will stop next year.

People in this thread may be too positive on old John Enter. There have been many times he’s said something and hasn’t gone through with it. There can always be an incident outside of his control that can push him over the edge too. Especially is Star Giant ramps up the alog faggotry. He reminds me a lot of a less severe version of Wings. Not in terms of physical health but the fact that all it takes is one good year and your career can explode back to relevance. Or he could also be like Wings and become a pure sadcow for a while

Video on that weird Grinch commercial
Enter mentions that he still wants to release Growing Around into the public domain when he dies, but that's most likely actually impossible now. The copyright is in both his and Kyle's name, and Kyle seems unwilling to give it up ever since Enter's callout post. Unless Kyle decided to give up the copyright too in respect of Enter's wishes, the copyright just goes to him or his estate as the sole owner when Enter dies.

Enter jumped on the Horrid Henry bandwagon.

Good to see he still gets needlessly angry over people being mean to each other in cartoons. Haven't skimmed through any of his videos for a bit. At the very least it's far more toned down than his early days when he was directly talking shit to specific writers.

British humor just feels different from American humor
It’s weird how Brit humor is the one that doesn’t catch on. Compare an American comedy to a Canadian comedy and there isn’t much difference. Same with Aussie humor. Even non English humor seems to be more appealing to Americans than the British stuff. I also think that most of the Brit YouTubers use American style comedy but maybe that’s just what I’ve watched
